There is a website called the Social DB based out of Toronto, which uses publicly available APIs and information to create a profile of you on their website, which then lists false information regarding your creator rates of pay and the means of contact. This means the website is using your image and likeness to show false affiliation and in all likelihood, they could use you to monetize and you would never even know.

A lot of misinformation out there about this. Itβs essentially following the same format as public Reddit threads getting Googled.
This only hits public channels in Discoverable Servers (the big 1k+ ones whose admins already opted into βanyone can join, no invite neededβ).
Discordβs Privacy Policy has ALWAYS said content there can be seen by people you donβt know.
Only future messages (mid-Dec onward), no usernames or avatars, and you can kill it right now in Settings β Data & Privacy.
Private servers, DMs, and role-locked channels are completely untouched.
Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings β Data & Privacy β turn off βShow my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.β
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars wonβt appear alongside indexed messages.
