The Forbes Border Post in Mutare handles 55% of all strategic cargo moving through the Port of Beira… And, currently, 1100 trucks pass through the border every day. President @edmnangagwa’s govt is already UPGRADING the Forbes Border Post to a World Class border post… This is Zimbabwe’s gateway to the Indian Ocean, just 300 km away from the City of Beira in Mozambique. ED2030 is for more world class infrastructure πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

The just-ended Russia–Africa Summit in Moscow marks another important chapter in Africa’s economic and geopolitical diplomacy. Under President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa’s leadership, Zimbabwe continues to pursue strategic partnerships that advance Vision 2030. Key opportunities include alternative international payment systems, agricultural mechanisation, fertiliser production, energy security, infrastructure development, technology transfer and increased trade. While Russia’s proposed payment alternatives could reduce dependence on Western financial infrastructure, Africa must also strengthen its own payment systems to promote financial sovereignty and intra-African trade. The future of Africa lies in strategic economic partnerships, industrialisation and value additionβ€”not merely exporting raw materials. Economic diplomacy must translate into investment, jobs and sustainable development.

If you bought land from a Land Baron, then you know exactly the person to target to recover your money…. You also have the responsibility to report that criminal to the police… the owner of the land is only interested in removing you from his land, that’s all… Deal with the person you paid, simple. The problem is that you blame govt when you never paid money to the govt…
I haven't seen a single land baron being held accountable. Not one. People lose their hard-earned money, families lose their homes and land scandals keep making headlines yet the big fish seem untouchable.

Every part of Zimbabwe is a construction zone… from private construction projects to public infrastructure projects, the whole country is on the move…. With very limited resources, President @edmnangagwa has CONSISTENTLY shown that he wants Zimbabwe to have beautiful roads….
MORE than 20 kilometres of the Wedza-Mushandirapamwe Road have been completed and opened to traffic as road rehabilitation projects continue across Mashonaland East Province. f.mtr.cool/yra4ng2ufr

In Zimbabwe you can meet someone with a machete or axe and even ask ask for directions, Zimbabwe is safe
In many parts of Zimbabwe πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡Ό, you have other things to worry about, but your personal safety isn’t usually one of them. You can go about your day without constantly worrying about being robbed or shot.

I so much appreciate the Varakashi Brigade for flooding social media with some good content about Zimbabwe…. Someone once asked: Why do you guys ignore the bad stuff? I replied: We have more than enough idiots posting the bad stuff… We are showing the other side that they won’t show.
The β€œWhataboutists” sitting in UK etc will quote tweet and be mad that he dared said the quiet part out loud. If you see the comment on this from black South Africans , they have been primed by your cashtivists to believe Zimbabwe is Mogadishu. ITS NOT. It has Many problems that need citizens to solve it but it’s not the war zone they paint to keep their dole cheques coming. We are not the same on these timeline. Many are at work. Ndezvebasa.

The people who were VIGOROUSLY opposing the issuance of Title Deeds are also the same people PRETENDING to be angry about DEMOLITIONS of properties with no title deeds. Guys, you can’t buy a house or land & there is no transfer of ownership - it’s just COMMON SENSE. Many of you have bought cars & the ownership was changed… Why do you feel comfortable buying land from someone who can’t prove to you that he owns the land??? And some of the land is bought by people in the diaspora, most of them claim to be smart people here on social media… all their smartness suddenly vanish when it comes to buying land… NO ONE CAN SELL YOU LAND THAT THEY DON’T OWN, that’s the basic principle you should all adhere to! If they claim to own the land, then you should VERIFY ownership… That process requires the services of lawyers who are competent in this area…. They will help you to verify ownership and also assist with transferring ownership of the land to you…. If you didn’t go through such a process, then demolitions may visit you any day… As much as it is painful to see people’s houses being demolished, the best way to understand the situation is to ask yourself this question: β€œWhat will I do if l find out that someone has built a house on a piece of land that I own?” Do you smile at the person and congratulate them for occupying your land? Or you go to court to get the person EVICTED from your property??? The second scenario is what every sensible person does…. And that’s the reason you see the demolitions…. As a starting point, ALWAYS know that every piece of land in Zimbabwe has an owner… before it becomes yours, you pay the owner and you also make sure that ownership is transferred to you. If your name is not at the Deeds Registry, demolitions will visit you one day… Instead of supporting the illegalities leading to demolitions, learn the right way of doing things!

Today, we are at Sandon Academy where the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Hon. Prof. Torerai Moyo, is officiating at the official opening of the A-Level Sandon Smart School in Gutu, Masvingo Province. Sandon Academy is a true model of a modern Smart School and one of the best schools in a rural setup. It is a fully integrated smart learning environment featuring a smart register, interactive boards, e-learning and distance learning capabilities for learners in case of sickness, and the use of laptops as notebooks with video and picture recording. Learning is further enhanced through the use of speakers and amplifiers, an e-library, and a secure firewall that blocks non-academic sites to keep learners focused. The school also embraces innovation through the use of VR glasses and its programme will continue to be modified with time. What sets Sandon apart is its pioneering use of technology for learner welfare. The school is equipped with an AI system that, through the use of audio and video, can detect sickness, anger, anxiety and other emotional states, allowing for early intervention. This is smart education that challenges old systems and puts the learner first. The results speak for themselves. From humble beginnings with just 14 pupils, the school now has over 800 learners, with a 95%+ pass rate at O-Level and 98%+ at A-Level. With e-seminars linking learners in Beatrice, Melbourne and Gutu, Sandon is connecting rural Zimbabwe to the world. This is the future of education, and it is happening here in Gutu.

He was obviously not wearing a seat belt… did that save him? Was he gonna be better off if he had worn it? Well, in the majority of cases, wearing the seat belt mitigates the risk of injury during collisions… it’s only in a few cases where the seat belt may do more harm than good… and those cases are known… This man here is lucky to be alive

Minister Mthuli Ncube was all smiles as his Deputy Minister laid out the facts during the Pre-Budget engagement in Bulawayo One thing I particularly appreciate about these engagements is the frankness and openness of the discussions. Members of Parliament are given the opportunity to freely express their views, raise concerns and challenge ideas without fear or favour. That is the essence of meaningful engagement and constructive debate in the national interest.

This is the kind of political debate we need in ZANU PF & in Zimbabwe… Minister Ziyambi raises a critical point here: State Owned entities must be PROFITABLE, there is no excuse! Verify Engineering is producing products like any other company in the same business.. they have the advantage of being the PREFERRED SUPPLIER for govt institutions… There is absolutely no reason why they should depend on taxpayer funding, they should be the ones paying dividends to the government… The people managing these entities should not betray the support given to them by President @edmnangagwa … It’s their duty to ensure these companies are profitable, otherwise they should resign…

One of the most significant developments emerging from the Russia–Africa engagement is President Vladimir Putin’s proposal for an alternative international payment system that could reduce dependence on the Western-dominated SWIFT financial messaging network. This is a major geopolitical and economic development, particularly for countries affected by Western sanctions and restrictions on international financial transactions. For decades, many nations have remained vulnerable to a global financial architecture heavily influenced by Western powers, particularly the United States. The ability to restrict access to international payment networks has increasingly become an instrument of geopolitical influence. Russia’s proposed alternative could provide an additional channel for international trade, strengthen financial sovereignty and reduce exposure to unilateral financial restrictions. However, while this is a welcome development, Africa must go a step further. As Africans, we must accelerate the development and integration of our own continental payment systems, enabling African countries to trade directly with one another using local currencies without unnecessary dependence on external financial intermediaries. Under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), strengthening African-led payment infrastructure, including the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), should be a strategic priority. Africa cannot achieve genuine economic independence while remaining excessively dependent on foreign-controlled financial infrastructure. The future of Africa lies not merely in finding alternatives to Western systems, but in building and controlling our own. Economic sovereignty must be supported by financial sovereignty.

We are in the digital age, access to RELIABLE & AFFORDABLE HIGH SPEED INTERNET is a PREREQUISITE for Economic Development. Minister @TateMavetera’s answer points to the reasons for high data costs, but most of them are just EXCUSES from the ISPs… Data prices MUST FALL & the ISPs must be held accountable for failing to provide the services that people pay for. One may buy data from @econetzimbabwe and it may expire without using it because of poor network coverage… That’s pure theft, and Zimbabwean ISPs get away with this… The Minister need to start appreciating the importance of lowering data costs and take REAL action to get the prices down… telling us the same excuses every year doesn’t cut it, action is what people want to see….

Zimbabwe is rising, and the numbers now confirm it. As of October 2026, according to the IMF, Zimbabwe is ranked the 14th largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $65.92 billion. In the same year, our economy grew by 5%, with a projected 3.5% growth in 2027 despite the El NiΓ±o challenge. This is not by chance, it is the result of deliberate and disciplined economic management. This progress is a direct dividend of the fiscal discipline restored under the Second Republic. Under the visionary and steady leadership of President E.D. Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe has moved from deficits to surpluses, from volatility to stability, and from uncertainty to confidence. Budgetary order, a stable currency, controlled inflation and renewed investor confidence are now driving real, productive growth across all sectors. What we are witnessing is Vision 2030 in motion. Zimbabwe is no longer on the sidelines; we are now counted among Africa's top economies and we are outperforming many traditional giants. This is the Second Republic delivering results for its people, and with unity and continued hard work, we will keep building the prosperous Zimbabwe we all want.

The P in GDP represents production of GOODS & SERVICES… @BitiTendai came out guns blazing arguing against the Official GDP figures. Listen to a Varun Beverages boss explaining how his company has grown since 2018. In fact, many experts are arguing that Zimbabwe’s GDP is above $100 billion… Consumption has massively increased since 2018, pushing companies to expand their production facilities… Even govt revenue has hit ALL TIME HIGHS, projected to hit $10 billion for the first time in 2026. In highly informal economies like Zimbabwe, govt revenue is likely to be 10% of GDP - proof that the GDP could be $100 billion! President @edmnangagwa DELIVERED!
