Tony Gachoka and his family have conscripted KTN to publish false information about the ownership and possession of the property formerly owned by Central Kenya Limited and currently owned and occupied by Floriculture Limited. I will set out the record straight in order that the Gachoka family ceases seeking public sympathy and falsely accusing the owner of the property of wrongdoing.
The property was sold and transferred to Floriculture Limited in 1995, by Trust Bank Limited, Central Kenya Limited having defaulted in the repayment of a loan secured by a charge over the property. The claim by Central Kenya Limited seeking to nullify the sale and transfer was dismissed by the High Court in 2020. The dismissal has not been set aside on appeal.
