Kansas announced the state’s new regulation platform, which will serve as a centralized digital platform where state agencies, boards & commissions can write, submit & edit rules and regulations electronically, replacing a 60-year-old paper process. scoopmedia.co/4wH6Wpp

I want to personally thank my @KansasSOS staff for their hard work, our partner agencies for their collaboration, state legislators who supported this initiative and the INK Board for providing an invaluable $500,000 grant. These all helped make this regulation modernization effort a reality. #ksleg
This regulation modernization marks the first-ever overhaul of Kansas' regulatory process. Thank you to all the various state agencies and the INK Board for your collaboration and cooperation. #ksleg #modernization

While on @HooserReason, we discussed the Kansas SAVE Act—legislation introduced by my office that is now on the governor’s desk awaiting signature. This is commonsense, noncontroversial legislation focused on strengthening and improving @KansasSOS voter roll data. I hope to see it become law. #ksleg

Thank You @POTUS for giving the state of Kansas access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system data to ensure the security of our elections. #ksleg

Until the Trump Administration, our requests for access went unanswered. Kansas was one of the first states to gain access to @USCIS's SAVE program and has benefited from the federal partnership, utilizing the data to review the state's voter registration database.

Because of this federal cooperation, Kansas has removed 5,500 deceased individuals from the voter rolls. Currently, our office is verifying potential non-citizens flagged and working with the @KSAGOffice. Thank you @KrisKobach1787 for being a fantastic attorney general to work with.

Yesterday I spoke with the State Government Affairs Council in Overland Park. Covered many topics and I emphasized the modernization of the Secretary of State's office. The business online operating system, for example, was completely replaced in-house for a more secure and efficient system. Once annual reports are now biennial fillings to alleviate the administrative burden on businesses. Currently, we are working on modernizing the state's 1960s paper-based regulation making process.
