Maybe it's time for a rebrand. "Humanities" no longer seems like the right word.
Massive survey of grad students finds: "Humanities PhD students were the most likely to express anti-Jewish prejudice and hostility to Israel and to consider Israel/Palestine to be an issue of personal importance, compared to other graduate students."

They opened it to usher in a new chapter. I see many Iraqis online inviting the Iraqi Jewish community to visit or come back to Iraq, they express regret and keep apologizing for the Farhoud.
Things are changing in the Middle East. One of the biggest remaining obstacles is Israel’s image, and that can be repaired, too. But that’s the Israeli government’s responsibility.
To tell the truth, I’ve observed a shift in public sentiment across many Arab countries following the war with Iran. More people seem open to making peace with Israel, but not without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
From what I’ve seen, Muslim voices who are indifferent to the Palestinian cause remain a small minority.

I, too, have been a frat skeptic since I was 17 or 18, but I don't see how banning frats would avoid running afoul of Title IX unless you banned sororities, too. But maybe someone expert in that area of law could weigh in?

I don’t expect a Columbia professor to know this sort of thing anymore, but Abraham Lincoln was not responsible for the Armenian genocide.
