Exactly. It’s never wrong to exercise your free speech rights as an American to wake up government officials to a problem, particular when those officials ultimately agree and take action. Noticing a problem is not the same as creating a problem.
I was one of the people — & know many others — urgently “working behind the scenes”, & fair to say without the publicity & sense of urgency that each of @garrytan, David, Jason, & many others created, the powers that be may very well have stayed asleep and f’ed the country

SVB just sent this to customers... great to see them getting back in the game.
Rooting for the brand to have a comeback and thankful that regulators, @potus, and @secyellen took decisive action!

Do you think the move by U.S. regulators to backstop SVB and Signature Bank deposits, puts an end to the panic? Jason Calacanis @jason says cooler heads have prevailed and the situation has been contained. @tanvirgill2 @willkoulouris

Fun fact for non-lawyers: a significant number of commercial contracts suspend obligations that cannot be met due to an “act of God.” This is a real thing. I am not making it up. And we’re going to be fighting in courts for the next decade over whether a virus is an act of God.
