This tweet really exposed the mindset of some Obidients. And I understand exactly what Mayor was trying to achieve by posting this kind of tweet. Now, let me explain. We have been on this street when some Obidients accused the Yoruba of being tribalistic. We challenged that narrative and made it clear that we are not bigots. Some people within that same group later came up with another argument: since Makinde is contesting against Asiwaju, why can't we support him since we all know he is better than Asiwaju. Mayor saw through their shenanigans and decided to play by their own rules. He basically challenged them with their own argument that, since we all claim not to be voting for Asiwaju, why can't we support Makinde, considering that he is young and has arguably performed better than Obi which is a fact. After all, if we truly believe in democracy, he is entitled to vote for whichever candidate he considers worthy. Now, the same Obidients who were singing Makinde's praises are suddenly abusing Mayor for expressing his willingness to vote for that same Makinde. This is exactly why i have always argued that the Obidient movement is driven more by an Igbo political agenda than by a genuine commitment to building a better Nigeria. Don't allow anyone to gaslight you on this app. E get why. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 @Ekitipikin
You guys said your candidate was younger and better educated than both Tinubu and Atiku so he is the best. You said voting for him is not because he is igbo, it is because he is the best. So why are you not voting Seyi Makinde? He is younger and better than your candidate and you know it..

Thank you, your Excellency @atiku, for not disobeying the court order disqualifying you as Presidential Candidate of the ADC. You signed off this statement very well, simply as former Vice-President (and not Candidate of ADC). That is how a Statesman should behave and respect the Rule of Law. Be properly guided
BOLA CANNOT USE THE COURTS TO ESCAPE THE PEOPLE’S VERDICT; WE ARE ON THE BALLOT — ATIKU Fellow Nigerians, Let no one mistake the latest court ruling for the will of the Nigerian people. No manipulation, conjecture or concoction can erase our place in this contest, silence our campaign or deny Nigerians the right to choose their future. We are on the ballot, and the people must be allowed to decide. Those who boast of having thirty-two governors and claim to have bought, pressured or coerced leaders from other parties into their fold should have no reason to fear a free and fair contest. Yet, instead of presenting their record to Nigerians, they continue to deploy every tactic available to weaken the opposition: political pressure, manufactured narratives, courtroom manoeuvres and attempts to compromise the voters’ register with AI-generated photographs, false names and fictitious identities. These are not the actions of people confident in their record. They are calculated attempts to make genuine competition impossible and push Nigeria towards a one-party state. And what record do they have to defend? This government removed the fuel subsidy overnight without a plan to protect Nigerians. It presided over the steep decline of the naira and allowed food prices to rise beyond the reach of ordinary families. Factories and small businesses have shut their doors. Our young people are leaving in search of hope, while bandits and kidnappers continue to hold communities hostage. Look around you. Market stalls stand empty. Feeding your family has become a daily struggle. Fuel prices keep rising, and silent pain fills homes across the country. Those in power may want you to believe that your suffering does not matter. They may want you to surrender your future before you even reach the ballot box. Do not lose heart. Do not retreat. Your vote is your power, and together, we will take our country back. Let me be clear to every Nigerian who has stood with us: I am in this race. I am not going anywhere. We will be on the ballot. No threat, blackmail or court manoeuvre will make me abandon you or the cause we share. We will resist with all our strength every attempt to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. Nigeria belongs to all its people. Our democracy must remain open to more than one party and more than one voice. If those in power believe in their numbers and their record, let us meet at the polls in a free, fair and credible contest. Our campaign will continue. Our message on the cost of living will not be silenced or derailed. Stay calm, united and resolute. Together, we will fight for a Nigeria where life is affordable and every citizen’s vote counts. Let me say this plainly: Bola cannot use the courts to escape the judgment of Nigerians at the ballot box. Atiku Abubakar Vice President of Nigeria, 1999–2007 Sokoto, Nigeria 6 November 2026

It was a great honour and privilege to accompany our revered father and elder statesman, General T. Y. Danjuma, alongside other distinguished leaders of the Middle Belt, on a strategic engagement with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The meeting provided an important opportunity to deliberate on critical national issues, particularly the security of lives and property, peacebuilding, the restoration of trust, and the promotion of social cohesion among our people. We emphasised the urgent need for sustained collaboration, mutual understanding, and collective responsibility in addressing the challenges confronting our communities while galvanising citizens towards the shared vision of a better Nigeria. We commended President Tinubu for his decisive leadership and ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation's security architecture, safeguard lives and property, and implement policies aimed at improving the living conditions of Nigerians. As leaders, we recognise that the responsibility of building a peaceful, secure, and prosperous society cannot rest on government alone. It requires purposeful leadership, genuine partnership, and a shared commitment across all generations. We are therefore determined to speak with one voice, work together, and encourage our youths to take ownership of peace and security within their respective communities while promoting dialogue, tolerance, and harmonious coexistence. Our collective resolve is to build bridges of understanding, strengthen confidence among our people, and create an environment where every citizen, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation, can live in peace, pursue legitimate aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Yoruba conservatism is at an all-time high. Many liberals have realised the danger expansionists pose to our language, culture & politics. The resistance is becoming less subtle, & it’s hard to blame them. The post-2023 elections period has been a profound lesson for all. Ronu!!!

The Bitter Truths Igbos Don't Accept. You destroyed Nigeria’s politics with your clannish rabid and toxic brand of politicking You destroyed the movie industry with piracy. You destroyed the beverage industry with fake drinks. You destroyed healthcare with fake drugs. You destroyed the IVF process with baby factories. You destroyed credible examinations with miracle examination centres. You destroyed legitimate businesses with drug-money-laden funds. You destroyed Nigeria’s image by being in prisons in every country of the world, including Mars. Yet you delude yourself that you are the smartest, most hardworking and only developer in heaven and on earth. This is bad for Nigeria! You must change for your own good. I don't know whether you are a sport journalist/analyst. your observations are spot on.
I like how the team evolved during this tournament and kudos to the manager for not sticking with non-performing players. The no 9 Chidi who happens to be the captain was dropped for Oluebube(17). The no 19 was not a starter until she scored the consolation goal against Poland. The no 13 Stephen was not a starter in the first game until she was subbed in and from there she has been a starter. The number 2 was very poor. Oscar was supposed to be a major player for the team but her performance has been disappointing and woeful.

URGENT PUBLIC APPEAL I never imagined having to make a post like this, but I desperately need your help. They are people's once in a lifetime memories, months of hard work and my livelihood. Thankfully, we have obtained CCTV footage showing the individual entering, taking my bag and leaving the hotel. I'm offering a N500,000 REWARD for credible information leading to the identification of this individual and recovery of my belongings through the appropriate authorities. Please you can send a message or call this number for any update 09033892670 Please guys help me repost abeg, this is very important please. 🙏🏾
