☢ TERMINATED IS BACK TIME FOR MORE DMZ ☢ #TerminatedTakeover xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1DxLdZzyq…
I have an episode and a half backlogged for now.
Needed some extra recovery this week, so only really got a half episode done on Sunday.
Is what it is, I’m getting better just not quite at 100%.
Anyways, I’ve been experimenting with AI in my thumbnails, specifically only adding to images I already created to enhance certain things like lighting, putting on game assets easier (saves hours) etc.
My opinion on AI has changed to be more positive. It really is just a tool, like anything else is.
I’ve seen good AI thumbnails and horrible ones, so the tool itself doesn’t even make you suddenly capable you definitely still have to know what you’re doing.
Here’s my last one I made for my Jedi survivor video, if I were to recreate it without the tool (I can maybe not exactly but pretty darn close) I’d have to spend hours and multiple sessions to do so.
I also don’t think it’ll take over the market. It is overhyped. A competent thumbnail designer can make this without it.
It purely only saves time, which is valuable, but it’s not game changing for most people, only in the right hands.
Guess what I’m getting at is you still need to know how to design thumbnails in order to effectively use AI as the tool it is to accomplish a good result.

Last post on this for now;
Why did Rumble release a boost feature that doesn’t work without fixing their algorithm first?
No one should be paying for the results I got.
If it’s the audience, then make that clear. I’m tired of being left in the dark about the supposed algorithm and perplexity AI (which was supposed to fix it a year or two ago, remember?)
Search is not fixed, the algorithm still sucks.
They should not have released a boost feature if that boost feature doesn’t work very well.
Rumble needs to fix their algorithm first.
So there you have it, for me Rumble boosts aren’t worth it when YouTube organic traffic is giving me 2740% better results (for retention)
Long term that compounds way more. If you’re frustrated in Rumble, you are not crazy at all.
I encourage you to prioritize the platforms that work, a platform needs to give compelling reasons to upload to that platform.
Simply saying it’s immoral to use YouTube isn’t a convincing argument.
Replying to @Kevcalner
YouTube AVD is ~28.4x higher (937s vs 33s), or about 2740% better.
Boost prioritizes volume via broad native placements, attracting low-interest viewers who drop fast. Pre-boost organic AVD was even lower (~3.6s), so normal Rumble algo also matches audience less effectively than YT recommendations for retention.
Here are my results (so far) from boosting on Rumble
Before boosting: 129 (forgot to record raw views) views, .13 watch hours
After: 1,040 views (718 raw) 9.58 watch hours
On YouTube, same video hit 1k plus views organically, and over 50% avd.
@grok break down this math real quick. Tell me the avd on rumble, and compare that to the YouTube results.

For example prior to boosting, my Skyrim video was at .13 watch hours, which is 3.6 seconds average viewer duration on Rumble.
On YouTube, the same exact video hit 50+% avd with over 1k views and counting.
Boosting has yielded me 975 views now and 9.58 watch hours. That’s still only 35.4 average viewer duration.
So even with boosting on Rumble, my content (all content) is doing miles better organically without boost on YouTube.
My conclusion is boosting is nowhere near justifiable for me.
