You will be okay, eventually.
We will all be okay, eventually.
Remember - even when it doesn't seem like it, it's going to be okay.

I can't shit on The Kids These Days (tm).
If they're ok, they're ok. If they're not, our generation and our parents generation raised them.
Remember when all the Boomers and GG's said we were all unmotivated slackers and then left us alone at home for days on end? Much the same.
Things are different now, but they've always been different from how they were before. In the greater scheme, we will be left behind. So will they. So will their kids.

Right off the bat, I see kits for the Crosstrek, Outback, and Forester. Looks like they do!

I still remember your stuff.
I also grew up on TWC's "Target Tornado" which had a bunch of @Stormchaser footage in it (if not exclusively, it's been a while)
The remarkable thing about the before-before times was the gritty quality and color of the footage. Every tornado was spooky, and looked like pure evil.
I miss that.
Reiterating - I HATE suspension work. That being said, I finally figured out the formula for proper ride and leveling of a V8 Grand Cherokee when you tear off the Quadralift II air ride.
The secret is apparently factory standard OEM rear coils and shocks, and then 2" lift @roughcountry N3 loaded front struts.
No more sharp, jarring bumps. No more sniffing the ground. Difference in pictures...

TORNADO SEASON BEGINS SOON: Alabama’s tornado season runs from November through May, so we will be in that season in less than one week.
Here's a map that needs a little explaining. It's from Dr. Victor Gensini's group at Northern Illinois University — a 'top ten analogs' map for Week 3, November 10–16. Dr. Gensini is a friend and they do wonderful work at NIU.
Here's what that means: they found the ten past weeks whose large-scale patterns best matched the one expected that week, then plotted where tornadoes happened in those weeks. Each dot is a tornado report from those analog weeks. Red dots are significant tornadoes, EF2 or stronger. Total: 290 tornadoes across the ten weeks, an average of 29 per week, with 39 significant ones.
Notice where they cluster: the Deep South, including right here in Alabama, plus parts of the Midwest. That's the classic fall severe weather setup for “Dixie Alley”.
Important: this is NOT a forecast of 290 tornadoes that week, and it doesn't mean your town gets hit. It's a heads-up: the pattern shaping up for mid-November has historically produced elevated tornado activity in the Southeast. Stay weather-aware as we get into November.

Chasers—check your Halloween candy closely! I just found side lobe contamination and weak lapse rates in my Snickers!

I just see this "art" style and my brain just overlays an event flyer for local pro wrestling and a shitty overpriced appetizer bar menu.

The Market (tm) is supposed to be our God these days, so let me quote some scripture:
Homes aren't magical. They're like cars or guns or stereos, or anything else. If your house has been on the market long enough to approach a birthday, and it still hasn't moved, it's priced too high for it's markets and comps. No one buys houses CASHHHH anymore, it's all financed. He will have to account for that and should find a closer match on comps for the region, city, and neighborhood. If he wants to sell fast, he could try beating comps.
These Boomers now-a-days, I tell ya hwhat. They should stop being snowflakes, pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and learn that a house is a house, not an investment vehicle. They should take the loss, and be happy they're getting experience selling property.
