In 2013/14 there was a number of instances where the defense would call out our play pre snap. We’d all know we were screwed but never had answers. Was one of the major differences with Jim / Jedd Fisch. We never snapped the ball with a pre snap, schematic disadvantage. If we had bad #s.. check the play. One of Michigans biggest issues is the OL seems to have trouble IDing and communicating fronts. There double teams go to the wrong person or no person. Leaving an unblocked defender at the POA. This is often magnified by WR motions which brings an extra DB into the box and adds nothing in terms of run blocking. Rhino? Safety in the box- muddies the picture. There seems to be major communication issues up front causing cloudy pictures and not allowing for open rushing lanes. The motions rarely have purpose and often make things worse from the intended goal pre snap
