I've battled PPD (post partum depression) for 14 yrs as well as anxiety & PTSD from a mva for 2 yrs.
I've seen (& continue to see) unimaginable thoughts in my head. I understand first hand the fear that comes w/that.
Need to talk w/o judgement? I'm here for you ❤

Sometimes mental wellness means finding peace, quiet and reflection. And sometimes it means finding support and comradery. We know a little something about that, and we're proud to support #BellLetsTalk

Someone you know is quietly suffering from pain they can’t describe. A weight or a fog they can’t lift.
I’ve suffered from depression and it was debilitating. Friends helped.
Today reach out. Listen. Care. Offer help.
Let’s start there.
Today, every RT matters.

I'm a husband. A father. A son. A brother. An uncle. A friend. A survivor.
21 years ago, I attempted suicide. I have battled depression and anxiety ever since. But I never faced the battle alone, & neither should you.
Reach out. Talk. You're not on your own.

Today, we stand with every individual who is fighting an inner battle with mental illness. It is important to break the silence, reach out and start the conversation. Not just today, but everyday. We all have strength to support each other and carry through. #BellLetsTalk #yeg

I always find #BellLetsTalk day to be bittersweet. I love all the support and encouragement but sometimes people try to out-sell each other on mental health issues. "You have depression? I have depression AND anxiety!" It's not a competition. Please be respectful.

Happening now. Officers in District 6 joined some local kids in a game of street hockey in the community of Oakridge. Their game has become so large we have temporarily closed the street to create a road hockey rink. #CanadianChristmas #WeAreCPS #Hockey #Xmas2018
