Who is following us exactly? Name one other country that has decided to import oil and gas instead of producing its own?
One will do.... We're waiting....

Soaring fertiliser costs are yet ANOTHER reason why the war in Iran has hit British families in the pocket. People understand that war in the Middle East hikes up petrol and diesel prices, driving inflation. We all know that.
Do not underestimate what it does to the cost of producing our food. Speaking as a farmer, it has ROCKETED.
Your food shop is SO much more expensive because of what has happened in Iran.
Modern farming depends on fertiliser. Much of that fertiliser depends on natural gas to manufacture - disrupt energy supplies and international shipping, and fertiliser prices rise. Quickly and brutally.
That means British farmers paying more to grow wheat, barley, potatoes and vegetables.
More to produce the crops that feed our livestock.
Everything costs more for us.
More expensive fertiliser means more expensive farming. More expensive farming means more expensive food.
And who pays? You. Your family. Your friends.
Businesses you use.
What does that do? Drive inflation, especially along with fuel costs soaring.
This is what the politicians who enthusiastically cheered on another Middle Eastern war apparently entirely failed to consider - Reform and the Tories were happy to drop the bombs but thought nothing of what would come next.
Restore Britain opposed this war from day one, because it was INCREDIBLY clear that throwing more bombs around the Middle East was going to disrupt everything.
Sadly, that region is of massive importance.
British farmers need affordable fertiliser. British families need affordable food. Neither needs another catastrophic foreign war.
Any farmer looking at their fertiliser costs over the last 12 months will agree with me - with more taxes to come, and the lunacy of Net Zero meaning our power is the most expensive in the world while we sit on abundant supplies.
Expensive fertiliser and expensive fuel directly from bombing Iran have delivered the soaring cost of living for working British men and women.
Restore Britain will slash the tax on fertiliser and produce it in OUR country.
Most importantly? No more pointless foreign wars.

In light of Islamophobia awareness month I’m sharing this wonderful video of MR Lowe.
“I have nothing against Muslims.
I think Islam is arguably a cult rather than a religion.
It’s the most warlike religion.
It’s very sexist in the way it treats women.
It’s almost the polar opposite of everything our liberal democracy stands for.
And yet we’re allowing large numbers of illegal migrants —
mainly young fighting-age men —
to come into our country
and be settled across various peace-loving communities.
And they’re doing a lot of damage.” Rupert Lowe.
What do you guys think of this?

West Antarctica sits on top of a volcanic rift.
Thwaites and Pine Island, Antarctica's two fastest thinning glaciers, sit directly above strong geothermal anomalies.
The glaciers are being melted from below, not above, and atmospheric data backs this up.
A recent study shows central west Antarctica has cooled around 1C per decade over the past 20 years.
The surface is cooling, the base is heating, and melt is concentrated where the crust is hottest.
Public messaging insists CO2 is melting Antarctica. But the air is cooling, with the only real melt restricted to the west, to regions sitting atop a hot volcanic rift.

“If Burnham thinks he’s going to send money for slavery reparations, and then tax us for it, we will get organised”

This Labour member of the Scottish Parliament, in appalling English, criticises pubs for not being spaces for 'religious minorities'.
Who cares? I am so sick of this entitled bullshit.
The Scots love a pub. That won't change, nor should it, to satisfy any 'religious minority'.

Britain ran the slave trade. Britain sent seven-year-olds into the mills.
And Britain ended both. 🇬🇧
How can one country be the villain and the hero? It can't. There were two Britains.
One owned people. The other did the work.
When slavery ended, historians counted every slave owner living in Britain. About three thousand, in a country of sixteen million. 📜
Bankers, merchants, lords and MPs. The other Britain couldn't vote them out: most men had no vote, and no woman had one. 🗳️
Take Samuel Greg. In 1784 he built Quarry Bank Mill at Styal, in Cheshire. By the time he retired, it was the biggest cotton mill in the country.
More than half his workers were children. Many were orphans from the workhouse. 🧵
Four thousand miles away, the Greg family owned the Hillsborough sugar plantation on Dominica, worked by enslaved Africans. 🌴
The blankets they slept under were made at his mill. Orphan children here. Enslaved Africans there. Making money for the same family.
So who stood up to them?
In 1787 a young campaigner called Thomas Clarkson went to Bristol. ⚓
Thompson, landlord of the Seven Stars pub, refused to help trick sailors onto the slave ships. Instead he took Clarkson round the dockside pubs at night, at real risk to himself.
The crew lists showed two slave ships to Africa had killed more British sailors than eighty-three ships to Newfoundland. Their stories helped turn the country against the trade.
Manchester didn't even have an MP. So more than ten thousand people, about one in five in the town, signed a petition to end it. ✍️
In 1830 Richard Oastler heard about Bradford's mills. One boy of about ten worked from six in the morning till ten at night.
Oastler wrote to the Leeds Mercury. He called it Yorkshire Slavery. 📰
In April 1832, thousands of mill workers walked to York to fight for their children. They called it the Pilgrimage of Mercy. 🚶
Against slavery, women went door to door. One petition in May 1833 carried 187,000 women's names. Not one of them could vote. 👩
Then came two dates.
28 August 1833: Britain signs the law to end slavery across most of the Empire. 🇬🇧
29 August 1833: the very next day, it signs the Factory Act. No child under nine in most textile mills. 🏛️
Neither law was a gift from the slave owners. Both were won by people with no vote, no money and no power.
So next time someone tells you "Britain did this", ask them: which Britain?
Odds are five thousand to one you come from the side that won.

Britain aimed its warships at an African island. 🇬🇧⚓🚢
Over one market.
The Sultan refused to close it.
It paid a quarter of everything his empire earned.💰
What was he selling?
People. 💀⛓️
Twenty thousand a year. Mostly children. ⛓️
In 1873 London sent him a final warning. 📜
"Close the market. Or the Royal Navy closes the island." 🇬🇧
What they built on that ground is still there. You can walk in today. 🕊️
They teach you the Atlantic slave trade.
Not the one in East Africa.

Alarmists: “World on fire!”
Reality: By Oct 28, global burned area likely never lower than 2026
Disasters in France, Spain & Canada are tragic—but climate is global. Cherry-picking isn’t science
Climate policy does near-nothing for fires
We need better fire policy (prescribed burns, let some burn) and better climate info

Over the last decade hard working Russian farmers have increased food exports by 250% and Russia is now in the World’s top 20 food exporters.
All this despite massive sanctions against them.
So the man we are told wants to invade Europe and destroy our way of life is actually feeding us while our own politicians in the legacy political parties attack our own farmers and food production.
In the UK we produce less than half of the food we consume leaving ourselves vulnerable to food shortages via weather, political or logistical disruption. A vulnerability which was exploited by our enemies in both WWI and WWII.
If Russia were planning on WWIII they would be stockpiling food at home not exporting it and feeding those who irresponsibly don’t produce enough food to feed their own population while importing ever more mouths to feed into their countries.
The next time you see, hear or read pro-war with Russia propaganda please think about this.

This is fun: One extra CO2 molecule for every 10,000 atmospheric molecules was allegedly powerful enough to prevent an Ice Age, but "that doesn't mean global warming is a good thing". 😄
Seems to me that trying to live in the Chicago area would be a lot more difficult if it was once again covered with thousands of feet of ice.

But the Government sent it to Zelensky instead, who is reported to be ‘delighted’ to receive our money.
