Digital has created impatience & insane expectations in marketing, but few things are actually immediate.
Ideas don't pop out of nowhere. Graphics don't come out of thin art. Thoughtful plans don't take minutes. And videos don't just happen.
Give teams the space to create.

I hate when people think B2B marketing can't be emotional.
Marketing is all about helping people solve problems. Problems are inherently painful. If you can't feel your customers' pain, it means you either:
1) Don't care enough
Or
2) Care about the wrong thing

Definition of terms:
Lead: a person you have means to contact
Engaged Lead: a person who has indicated interest in the stuff you sell
People say they want more leads when what they really want are engaged leads.
Anyone can buy a list of names.
Interest you have to earn.
Well said, @KateBour. We'd never have said it any better.

Before pressing publish on your content marketing efforts, ask yourself:
1. Does this solve our audiences problem?
2. Is it better than what exists?
3. Is it worth reading / sharing / bookmarking?
4. Will this improve your audiences life/career?
No to all 4?
Try again.

Startup advice: always risky chasing a market trend or a new buzzword because you don’t know how long it’ll last. Build something that you’d be excited about that solves a real problem, even if there was no hype.

Entrepreneurship is not about money, power or fame.
It's about the *chance to build something from scratch* and having an impact on the world.
