Krypton Research is a completely different investment firm. I believe every investor needs thinking like this. There are thousands of finance substack posting the same “deep dives” or “value picks”. We take a genuinely differentiated approach and it pays off. $SPY
For ~$1 per day, Krypton Research delivers this to thousands of readers: - Investment research rooted in abstraction, thinking about the future and finding investments that fit our outlooks… not just ones with pretty 10-Ks. - Weekly market commentary on subjects that are deeper than the regular headlines or recaps posted by most accounts. - Monthly “Abstractions” diving deep on topics that are usually complex and sometimes unrelated to direct investments, but mold how you think about the world… it’s all connected. All of that and more in a subscription that’s paid off multiple times over by our research and investment picks. Join today: kryptonresearch.co/portfolio

Think we are still seeing this when it comes to memory $MU $SNDK $DRAM being conflated with the rest of the AI trade and chips. Yes, believe it or not, there is a world where you can sell bloated memory names while buying other areas of AI. For now market has tunnel vision.
Anyone else excited for when memory decouples from semis? $DRAM Memory is functionally a tax on the AI buildout. It’s critical, but these companies printing 90% gross margins isn’t good for anyone but themselves. Seems that their swings have dictated chips for months now. $SMH

Market is completely lost on the AI trade, it’s one thing to sell off chips and other rather cyclical names coming off high multiples. But we’re seeing many quality names get dragged down just because they’re associated with the AI complex (greatest tech revolution in history).

Great one two combo post 😂

I guess what really pisses me off is that cryptocurrency is straightforwardly terrible, and didn't generate this sort of backlash

Big opp in nuclear stocks imo (Our top pick in quote post) Watching nuclear power names get crushed today following the midterms, with $VST and $CEG both selling off sharply. Same for smaller names $LEU $OKLO etc... Yeah, a less accommodating regulatory environment for data centers could slow future power demand growth, delay projects, and complicate the economics of long-term supply contracts. But I think we're overlooking a substantial part of the nuclear investment cycle. America already operates 94 commercial nuclear reactors, with an average age of roughly 44 years. Many of these facilities are being considered for operating life extensions, with the NRC permitting subsequent licenses that can extend operation to 80 years. These aren't assets that can simply be left alone for another four decades. Extended operations require ongoing investment in safety, instrumentation, monitoring, maintenance, and aging-management programs. Even without an explosion in new reactor construction, the existing nuclear fleet represents a substantial market for the companies keeping these facilities operational. And that's before considering restarts, power uprates, or the development of entirely new facilities. AI may have brought nuclear back into the investment spotlight. But the industry's underlying capital and service requirements existed long before anyone began discussing gigawatt-scale AI campuses. I think investors should be spending considerably more time examining the economics of the existing fleet, rather than treating every nuclear-related business as a directional bet on new data-center construction.
Nuclear energy will be paramount in meeting roaring energy demand, especially as we look towards a sustainable future. Our latest investment is an under followed small cap that runs a near monopoly in equipment required in all nuclear facilities: kryptonresearch.substack.com…

Our “Krypton Markets” piece from last weekend masterfully articulated what is being seen across the AI landscape today, irreverent of election results. The easy money phase of AI is over. Buying every stock that simply mentioned AI or was some far off “bottleneck” is no longer enough for positive returns. We saw this with months in sectors such as: - Memory $MU $SNDK $SKHY $WDC - "Optics" $AAOI $LITE $COHR $MRVL - Power $BE $CAT $GEV - Chips $INTC $AMD $ARM $CBRS Those are just the mainstream names, and most of them are actually great companies (many more shitcos deep within the AI wreckage.) We are now in a new era of the AI trade. Valuation matters, earnings matter, execution matters. The people who's research you read matters. We at @KryptonResearch are invested across the AI supply chain, with holdings in: Chips, Data Center, Networking, Energy, Infrastructure But we are selective in what we research and buy, and these companies, and in turn Krypton Research and its readers, will be rewarded handsomely.

Always fascinates me how nuclear energy is not treated as clean and renewable…. It’s far better than solar but sits in a completely different bucket. $VST $CEG vs $ENPH $FSLR today

If you sold $ORCL below $120 at any point in the last 24 hours there’s no saving you, best to stick to $VOO

The most underrated aspect of this election result is one of our core investment theses. New power builds will be under scrutiny under dem leadership (as $VST $CEG $BE $GEV are showing). Our investment into grid intelligence is a major beneficiary. Full thesis quoted:
As AI continues to scale, its need for power does too. This means greater investment into the grid that supports it, not just power generation names which have been the leading segment surrounding this theme. That’s why we invested in a grid intelligence company rewiring how the grid handles electricity to be the most efficient it can be. Full thesis: kryptonresearch.substack.com…

Elections are largely over with at this point, it’s good time to review our outlook @KryptonResearch Markets will have a knee-jerk reaction, but it’s important to realize just how little most things change in relation to AI, but what does matter, is how value changes: Abbott already had stricter DC regulations being enforced and this is something seen across party lines. A democrat sweep, even in the most shocking races, isn’t a huge change *in reality* for AI buildout, as much as the sentiment and reactionary pricing may suggest. More importantly, companies that have already secured permits, power, and are in construction will actually see a boost in value as new data center capacity will become scarce. It’s a form buy the dip event on these company’s, specifically the hyperscalers: $ORCL $GOOG $MSFT $AMZN $META

Hopefully republicans take this as a wake up call and realize their best options are DeSantis or Rubio (less likely) in 2028. Putting Vance up there is begging for a repeat of tonight. On the flip side hopefully democrats field better candidates in the next two years than AOC. Both sides must be better for this nation.
