This is what an ineffective school board spends its time doing. This distracts from the district's failure and harms the students of the district the most.

If Microsoft is offering buyouts and early retirement to 60,000 employees, then I guess they won't need any H-1B visas this year or next year?
@StephenM can you let us know if Microsoft is cancelling all of their H-1B visa applications?
Is there any audit professional who can defend this Loudoun County Public Schools policy enabling the board to remain ignorant of spending under $250,000?
Replying to @ExceptionalEdVA @LCPSOfficial
Meanwhile the school board can be completely unaware of purchases under a quarter of a million dollars. But hey, at least the pronouns got fixed.

Imagine having a $2.6 billion school district budget, mounting financial pressures, staffing concerns, and legitimate questions about student safety and this is what the School Board is spending its time debating. The problem isn’t the pronouns. It’s the priorities. 🤡🤡🤡

And this my friends, is why parents no longer have any faith in public schools and I have to think the systems just keep reinforcing that distrust.

Organizations that “need” taxpayer dollars to function should be ineligible to hire non-citizens.
If Americans have to go to work everyday to subsidize your university, hospital or businesses, you should be limited to hiring the people who are keeping your institution alive.

A network of TWELVE Illinois school districts is recruiting teachers from overseas to fill taxpayer-funded jobs teaching American children.
Decatur names Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Guyana and the Philippines among its recruitment countries.
Peoria Public Schools sponsors the J-1 visas. With extensions, teachers can remain in U.S. classrooms for up to FIVE YEARS.
An April government document touts 282 international teachers—and says foreign recruits filled 116 vacancies in Peoria alone over five years.
Private recruiters charge for access to this pipeline, too: We Dare To Teach’s published Peoria partnership policy lists a $3,000 first-year fee paid by participating teachers.
Decatur says the recruits receive the same contract and benefits as existing teachers.

Purdue is one of the country's best-known agricultural universities. A school that trains American students for careers in research, science, and agriculture.
YET, Purdue is filing an H-1B notice for a “Research Analyst” in its Department of Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication, at $70,822 a year.
Imagine graduating from Purdue, looking for a job in your field, and seeing your own university recruiting foreign workers for these positions.
At what point do universities start prioritizing the students they educate over the pipeline of foreign labor they can hire?
Purdue owes its students and American taxpayers some answers.
