Jesus lived 600 years earlier in a far more unrefined era, yet He never owned a single slave. What is most startling about Christ is how He entirely bypassed the cultural traps of antiquity. He easily could have engaged in the socially permissible norms of His day that age horribly now; like marrying a minor, or owning and sexually exploiting slaves. But He didn’t. He lived with absolute moral perfection in a time when the ethical bar was on the floor, and His standard remains flawless today. He is God.

On October 27, 2024, servicemen from Rogue Team and Omega Team of the GUR International Legion were tasked with locating and eliminating Russian FSB and SOF DRG groups conducting cross-border ambushes in Ukraine’s Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts.
During the mission, the teams attempted to infiltrate enemy territory but encountered a fortified Russian position near the village of Brahlov in Bryansk Oblast.
According to Rogue Team fighter with the callsign "Snow," they had expected a trench position but instead came across a heavily fortified underground bunker with trenches and eight firing positions. "It was like Fort Knox," - "Snow" recalls.
Rogue Team split into two main teams: Alpha and Bravo. Rogue Alpha and Omega Team assaulted the fortification from the treeline west of Rogue Bravo.
Rogue Bravo then split into two groups, with one advancing to assault the fortification while the other remained behind to provide covering fire. The actions of Rogue Bravo were captured on video by one of its fighters, callsign "Uno."
At 05:05, the fighters launched an assault from two directions, throwing grenades into the Russian positions and attempting to storm the fortification. However, they were met with heavy Russian fire. This marked the beginning of the operation's most difficult moments.
- Rogue Alpha, which was attacking the fortification from the treeline, came under Russian machine-gun fire and lost two fighters (off-screen). The team leader, Bradley Carl Jennison, callsign "Super Dave," was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Reportedly, Simon Petrik Rajakisto, callsign "Rauta," was wounded in an open field and could not be evacuated due to heavy Russian fire, so he blew himself up to avoid capture.
- 16:45 Somewhere around this time, Rogue Bravo fighters again attempted to enter the bunker but failed.
- At 17:38 Canadian volunteer Mandeep Singh, callsign "Poet" moved into the open and was wounded by small-arms fire. His comrade, American volunteer Corey John Nawrocki, then attempted to reach "Poet" and drag him to safety under covering fire from the cameraman, but Russian fire killed both men.
- 20:24 While attempting to help them, one of the fighters was wounded in the head, possibly in the neck area. With only two fighters remaining at the position, they decided to withdraw to the rear position where the second Rogue Bravo group was stationed and requested covering fire, but received no response.
- 22:14 The fighters began retreating under Russian fire. Possibly due to communication problems, their comrades only began providing covering fire at the last moment.
- 23:20 The fighters provided first aid to the wounded man and spent the next few minutes trying to contact Omega and Rogue Alpha to request covering fire for their withdrawal.
- 32:17 Due to communication problems, the fighters were unable to contact their comrades. However, they spotted members of Omega Team in the treeline and decided to cross the open field directly in front of the Russian positions.
- 33:07 The cameraman crosses the open field under Russian fire and enters the treeline.
- 35:07 The fighters began retreating through the forested area as Russian forces pursued them. In addition to the difficult terrain, they also encountered barbed wire. One of the fighters got caught on the wire, forcing the group to stop for several minutes.
- 42:11 The fighters eventually regrouped with other teams.
- 1:10:30 After regrouping with other groups and resting briefly, the soldiers began their withdrawal toward Ukrainian territory.
Rogue Team lost four fighters during the operation.

Unfortunately, their bodies could not be recovered at that time. May they rest in peace, and may their sacrifice never be forgotten.

An American Airlines flight attendant who used her travel benefits to fly to a 75-year-old Palm Coast woman’s home as part of a sweepstakes scam is in custody after a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office investigation led to her arrest in Miami.
Late Friday evening, U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested Destiny Blake, 24, of Brooklyn, New York, on a Flagler County warrant as she arrived at Miami International Airport on an international flight.
The scam started in November 2025 with a phone call. The caller, who claimed to be with Publishers Clearing House, told the victim she had won. To collect her “winnings,” the victim was instructed to mail a $500 gift card to “Destiny Blake” at a Brooklyn address, which she did.
During this time, the victim was also locked out of her own email account. The password had been changed and the account switched to look-a-like address she never created.
Between Nov. 15 and Nov. 19, 2025, the victim withdrew more than $14,000 from her bank. Blake received $14,220 in cash and Zelle payments.
On Nov. 18, Blake flew from New York to Daytona Beach as a standby passenger using her flight attendant benefits and then took an Uber to a hotel on State Road 100 in Palm Coast. The next morning, an Uber dropped Blake off at the victim’s home just before 11 a.m. Fifteen minutes later, another Uber picked her up and took her back to the Daytona Beach airport. Before she flew home, purchases were made on the victim’s credit card at the Daytona Beach and Charlotte airports.
Detectives determined Blake had been issued her own Apple Card as an authorized user on the victim’s account. A family member later found a note in the victim’s home with instructions to call the card company and tell them Blake was her granddaughter and was authorized to use the card.
Between Nov. 16 and Dec. 11, 2025, 88 charges totaling $10,590.30 were charged to the victim’s credit cards. They included a $1,740.91 eBay order shipped to Blake’s Brooklyn address, $1,523.16 spent on Apple products and more than $1,300 spent at T-Mobile, Ugg, a Brooklyn hair salon, and dozens of Uber rides and Uber Eats orders. One Uber ride was paid in Jamaican dollars in Kingston, two days after Blake flew there while working for American Airlines.
The online orders were done using Blake’s own name, email address and phone number. Detectives obtained surveillance video of Blake using the victim’s card at a Queens supermarket. Detectives also determined that Blake’s phone was in the area of the stores on the dates of the transactions.
In total, the victim lost approximately $25,310. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Blake on Oct. 13, 2026 for the thefts and fraudulent charges.
“Most flight attendants use their benefits to see the world. Blake used her’s to further a scam against a senior resident, live a lavish lifestyle using stolen bank cards and thinking she could get away with it,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Her wings were clipped by our detectives and with the help of CPB she was arrested. Her next trip? Flagler County to be held accountable for her crimes.”
U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested Blake for organized scheme to defraud over $20,000 from a victim 65 or older, fraudulent use of personal identification information of a person 60 or older, and grand theft over $20,000. She was transported to the Miami-Dade County jail, where she was later released on a $30,000 bond.
Families caring for an older adult can shut off many of the ways scammers reach them and take over their accounts. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has posted step-by-step instructions to safeguard your loved one’s phones, email, computers and bank accounts at flaglersheriff.com/senior-sa….
Suspected financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult can also be reported to the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-96-ABUSE (1-800-962-2873), 24 hours a day, or to the U.S. Department of Justice National Elder Fraud Hotline at 1-833-FRAUD-11 (1-833-372-8311).
Anyone who believes they were targeted in a similar scam or had financial contact with Blake is encouraged to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911.

We honestly DO NOT talk enough about how God will give you a completely ordinary day. No emergencies, no devastating phone calls, no chaos. Just peace.
That alone is a blessing.
I hate low quality people sm😭
I do this whenever I travel by air. I’ll familiarise myself with whoever I’m sitting next to, collect their number, and ask if someone is picking them up or if they’re ordering a ride.
Once I hear “I’m ordering a ride,” congratulations, you’ve just become my airport taxi. 😂
I’ll discreetly use my phone to snap the car plate number and send it, alongside the person’s details, to my DSS friend in case anything happens.
Once you drop me, na block straight 🫣😂
Abeg, those airport taxi fares are not beans jare😂

No Muslim can honestly deny this.
It's easier to be a Muslim in a Christian country than in a so-called Islamic one.
Try being a Shia in Saudi Arabia and practising your faith openly.
Try being an Ahmadi in Pakistan. Call yourself a Muslim and you can go to prison.
Try being a woman in Iran who steps outside without covering her hair.
Try asking for your daughter's education in Afghanistan.
Now look at the UK.
Sunni mosques. Shia mosques. Ahmadi mosques. All standing freely.
The worldwide leader of the Ahmadiyya community lives in England, because he can't live in Pakistan.
A girl in hijab walks into school in London. A girl in Kabul can't walk into school at all.
We call them kuffar.
But they're the ones protecting Muslims from Muslims.
So tell me again, which one is the Islamic nation?

This issue of adulterated and fake food products & medication is one that burns me to the core of my soul. I can forgive, and to some extent understand faking designer and luxury clothing, fashion apparel and perfumes. But adulterating/faking food and medication? Never.
At this point, with the massive proliferation of adulterated and fake food products and medication, we need to have a serious conversation about meting out severe punishment for manufacturers, vendors and purveyors of adulterated and fake food products and medicine no matter whose ox is gored.

Muslims, let's stop lying to ourselves.
Most Muslim countries are not tolerant of other religions.
In Saudi Arabia, a Christian can't build a single church.
In Pakistan, mobs burned more than 20 churches in one day in Jaranwala over a blasphemy rumour.
In Iran, Baha'is are barred from university just for what they believe.
Meanwhile the UK has nearly 2,000 mosques, and nobody is burning them down.
We demand tolerance everywhere we're the minority.
Then refuse to give it everywhere we're the majority.
That's not faith. That's hypocrisy.

If you buy Apple's new folding iPhone this Friday, you'll open and close it around 10,000 times by the end of January.
A YouTuber named Tim Pan already did that to one. He folded it 500 times by hand, strapped it to a machine for 10,000 more, then dropped the temperature to -4°F and ran another 1,000.
That January date comes from Samsung's math. Samsung figures people fold these phones about 100 times a day, and 100 a day for 100 days gets you to 10,000.
You should care because Apple charges $999 to replace the inside screen if you don't have AppleCare. That's half the price of the phone. And Apple has never said how many folds that screen is built to last.
Samsung has. Samsung Display, the company that reportedly makes the folding screen inside the iPhone Duo, had its own Galaxy Z Fold 7 screen tested by an outside lab that folded it 500,000 times over 13 days. So somebody in Apple's supply chain has a number. Apple just hasn't printed one.
Last month a reporter asked Tom Marieb, Apple's new head of hardware engineering, whether the crease down the middle would get worse over time. His answer was "Hold us accountable to that, please." Tim took him literally.
Bend a credit card back and forth enough times and you get a white line that never goes away. A folding screen works the same way. It's a stack of thin layers, mostly plastic, glued together, and every fold stretches the outside of that stack and squishes the inside. The plastic never quite bounces all the way back, so the strain piles up into a groove. One lab measured a brand-new Duo's crease at 48 microns deep, about half the thickness of a sheet of paper.
Apple went after that groove two ways. The glue between the layers is designed to let them slide past each other when the phone closes, so less strain gets trapped. Then there's the matte finish. Marieb's explanation was that a shiny screen reflects like a mirror, and a mirror shows you every tiny dip. Matte scatters the light so a groove is harder to spot.
Tim's freezer round is aimed right at that glue. Cold makes plastic and glue stiffer, and the glue is the exact layer Apple is relying on to slide. So every fold at -4°F hits hardest on the piece of the phone doing the most work to keep the crease down.
Marieb told everyone to hold Apple accountable, and this video is what that looks like when somebody actually does it. Watch it before yours shows up Friday.

You can take a train from mainland Italy to Sicily… even though Sicily is an island. 🚆⛴️🇮🇹
At Villa San Giovanni, the train carriages are loaded onto a ferry, carried across the Strait of Messina, then rolled back onto the tracks in Sicily and the journey continues.
Definitely adding this one to my list.
Would you do it?
