Puello didn’t do shit to win that fight. I expected him to show up differently, but Dalton dictated the whole thing. Stop pretending it was close. You bought into the commentary narrative again, while they were trying to convince live traders that Puello was doing something.
Top Dude !
Didn’t think he was gonna play it like this , but props to him and team

116-112 Dalton Smith is my final score
Effective enough to negate consistent offense from Alberto Puello. Not the most impressive performance but effective. Let’s see what the judges say #SmithPuello
The dumbest accounts will always get the most likes for the most pointless posts. 😂
Who would win between a guy from the 70s and a modern-day fighter?
Who’s the most underrated boxer?
Who’s the face of boxing?
Who’s going to lose their 0?
Who… who… fucking who?
Meanwhile, hardly anyone wants to talk about how the business really works, how the narratives get built, where the money flows, and where the real opportunities are.
Because arguing about boxing makes you a fan. Understanding how the game works makes you a trader.
One of the most knowledgeable guys on YouTube when it comes to breaking down fights recently asked on a podcast:
“How come nobody puts the camera on the judges, and why do they never get interviewed?”
Nobody had an answer.
Well, let me tell you why that shit works the way it does… 😀
Put a camera on the judges and suddenly you’ve got three people trying to get home safely after 12 rounds of making enemies.
And why don’t they get interviewed?
Because what the fuck are they supposed to say? “I scored it that way because BOSS SAID SO”?
What’s your gut feeling, fam?
Which fight are the judges most likely to start doing gymnastics with the scorecards if it goes the distance?

One thing we should keep in mind for tomorrow’s main events from Uk and US
Navarrete never seemed particularly keen on this fight, but eventually took it after whatever extra money was put on the table.
Same with Dalton. This fight was supposed to happen back in June, then got pushed back to October. Officially, it was an injury… but I’m not convinced that’s the full story.
So what does that tell us? 🤔
When two fighters need extra convincing to make a fight happen, and one of them has already had months of delay, you have to question the motivation, the preparation and whether both are really coming in with the same mindset.
And when money is the main reason for taking a fight, don’t automatically assume you’re getting two men desperate to win at all costs.
Before you even think about placing a bet, you need to understand how corruption, financial incentives and money laundering can operate in boxing. Don’t take records, results or public narratives at face value. Learn to analyse the business behind the sport, and fuck this “which version shows up this week” narrative. 😬
Question what you’re watching and recognise the difference between what’s being sold to the public and what the evidence actually shows.
If you don’t understand the risks behind the scenes, you have no business betting serious money.
And seriously, can’t you see the pattern? Every other week, a certain fighter goes viral, the hype goes through the roof, everyone piles in, and then something bizarre happens and the whole lot gets fucked.
Coincidence??? NAHHH ..😉But if you’re betting serious money, you’d better be asking questions instead of blindly following the narrative.
While everyone’s evacuating the country , Turki’s calling them back to watch boxing, listen to Fadel Shaker and sing “Le Tu E Die” together like nothing’s happening! 😂😂😂

Zuffa’s promotion is terrible. They don’t take enough time to market the fights.
🚨 'PARAMOUNT EMBARRASSED BY GARCIA-BENN NUMBERS'
👀 Dan Rafael on Zuffa Boxing: "I don't think anybody expected them to do big numbers off the bat. But I do think people expected them — including Paramount executives themselves — that when they brought a fight like Ryan Garcia-Conor Benn to Paramount and they had paid Conor Benn astronomical money for his first fight of his agreement to be on an undercard that was on Netflix and then to come and have a big main event on Paramount with Ryan, they had expectation to get some big bang for their buck and it was very telling that they did not announce any numbers for that. ... They were embarrassed by the numbers I'm sure for that fight. And it's cost them a lot of money."

He’s not wrong about the bodywork, but let’s not pretend Itauma gassing out wasn’t the biggest factor. Both things can be true.
Filip Hrgovic believes he deserves more credit for his win over Moses Itauma than simply chalking it up to Itauma gassing out:
"He gassed out for a reason. Because I was there, I was hitting him, my presence was there.
I was receiving all these shots and kept coming forward. I got into his head before the fight. All of these things I did right.
I did a lot of bodywork that people didn't see during the whole fight.
He didn't get tired because of nothing. He got tired because of my performance, because of shots he received, and because of my toughness.
I don't agree with that bullshit that he just got tired.”

Emanuel Navarrete vs O’Shaquie Foster 🥊
3 world titles, two radically different interpretations of the sweet science.
Emanuel Navarrete fights like a made man in 1950’s Las Vegas. For years, he’s been skimming from boxing’s casinos, bending every rule of sound mechanics, reaching recklessly over his front foot farther than Dhalism, throwing punches from positions that defy boxing logic, leaving his chin exposed and his balance compromised. And somehow, instead of getting caught, he’s been leaving the casino with championship belts and suitcases full of cash.
But Saturday night, he may discover that O’Shaquie Foster isn’t another casino owner.
Shock is the forensic accountant who’s been studying the books. He knows exactly where Navarrete’s balance goes missing, which punches leave his chin unaccounted for and how long it takes him to recover his feet after overextending.
El Vaquero: The genius of disorder
There’s a tendency to mistake Navarrete’s awkwardness for a lack of sophistication. I think that’s a mistake.
Navarrete understands something important about physical combat: an opponent cannot defend against a rhythm he can’t identify.
His punches don’t arrive along conventional flight paths. The FAA has tried banning him. They come from strange heights, strange distances and occasionally, from body positions that seem physically incompatible with throwing an effective punch.
He’ll reach over that lead foot and hit you from a distance where you thought you were safe. He’ll sling a shot around the guard, then attack downstairs before you’ve figured out where the first punch originated.
It’s almost like trying to play chess against somebody who keeps introducing pieces you’ve never seen before. You know the rules, he just doesn’t seem interested in obeying them.
And the punishment accumulates.
Navarrete isn’t a Julian Jackson-type puncher who erases your consciousness with one perfectly placed shot. His danger is more corrosive. The volume, the body punching, the uncomfortable angles, the repeated physical demands of defending yourself against a man who refuses to stop coming.
Nav doesn't demolish the building with one perfectly placed explosive, he’ll drive a bulldozer through the lobby, knock out 3 supporting walls by accident, reverse over the rubble and keep going until the entire structure comes down 😂
And once he senses that collapse beginning, he’s a vicious finisher.
But here’s the problem.
Navarrete’s awkwardness is both his greatest weapon and his most exploitable weakness. He throws punches from angles that make no damn sense, often leaning so far over his front foot that his balance is severely compromised. Against most opponents, that unpredictability creates confusion. Against a counterpuncher with Foster’s eyes, timing and intelligence, those same unorthodox movements can become very dangerous.
Shock Foster: A different kind of intelligence
I consider O’Shaquie Foster one of the premier boxing tacticians operating today.
Not simply because he’s fast, although the hand-speed advantage here should be substantial. Not simply because he has excellent feet, although I believe his mobility will be instrumental. It’s because Shock’s boxing iq is among the highest in the sport and he has a tremendous ability to make in-fight adjustments.
Foster can conduct that audit while the casino is still open for business. If the numbers don’t add up in the early rounds, he’ll change his approach, examine a different part of the operation and find another way in. Navarrete may spend the first few rounds thinking he’s getting away with murder, only to discover by the halfway point that Foster has already figured out the entire racket.
