I genuinely believe Lagos can become one of the most important cultural capitals in the world. The talent is here. The creativity is here. The people are here. We just need to keep building the spaces, experiences and institutions that bring it all together. A little glimpse of what we’re building at Afropolitan. 🔥
The room was the runway. A first look at the arrivals from the Afropolitan Private View, kicking off Lagos Fashion Week. The fashion. The people. The culture. Lagos showed up. 🥂

NAFDAC’s Investigation & Enforcement Directorate has uncovered a residential building at 322B Meiran Road, Agbado Oke Odo, Lagos, where empty bottles of assorted alcoholic beverages were stored for suspected use in counterfeiting popular brands. Over 100 sacks of empty bottles were discovered and destroyed to prevent their reuse in the production of counterfeit alcoholic drinks.

The real problem is that there will always be men shameless enough to stick their penises into such a creature. Some men have absolutely no standards, no dignity, and no shame. Disgusting!
This you! You are calling a man mid? Wonders shall never end. How old are you again? You just clocked 30yrs old just a few days ago, but look at you looking like a 60+ grandma and this same you have the audacity to call someone mid! You are sub mid yourself in case you don't know. Na the arìndìn wey enter your DM I blame sha. He obviously doesn't have any levels himself and perhaps that was the reason he saw you as a perfect match for him. You are both obviously one of a kind. Mid attracting mid. And it is always the broke one that do the most. It is always those ones who use birthdays as an avenue to do online bambiala. Drop your account details make I send you some coins to buy food tray since you are a hungry almajiri.

The road that Nigeria needs to travel to become a reasonable society is a very long road. We are a dangerous congregation of thieves. Very low trust society. Growing up, we how tomato, garri and rice retailers manipulated kongo & ike oda. This is wickedness.

Big updates are coming: agbero, LASTMA, new buses, and an Independence Day paint on Oct 1. 🇳🇬 Follow @eureka_seamless so you don't miss them 👇 danfo.horpey.dev #LagosRun
I built a game where you drive a danfo through Lagos 🚌 Load passengers, dodge okadas, beat the traffic. Plays in your browser, no download. danfo.horpey.dev/ #LagosRun #Lagos #IndieGame

This is Jazeel a 6 year old with three holes in his heart. His mother sent his picture to me, see blood in his eyes, I cried when I saw the picture, because I've witnessed a scenario where this boy had a seizure 😭 I cried that day. Read my chat with his mum this morning they need 8M for surgery. This is one of those times I really wished God blesses me the way I want 😭 @Wizarab10 @osemagnum @Dr

When The Pump Price Rises, Policy Must Respond The latest fuel price increase is another reminder that Nigerians cannot eat economic theories. Atiku Abubakar’s proposal to restore a production subsidy, targeted at domestic refineries rather than subsidising imported petrol, deserves serious debate. The objective should be simple: reduce the cost of energy, protect household incomes and make local refining work for Nigerians. This is not about bringing back wasteful subsidy regimes. It is about putting the Nigerian consumer back at the centre of energy policy. Nigeria needs an economy that works for the people. That is the conversation Atiku is opening. #Atiku2027 #MakeNigeriaAffordableAgain

When Lagos island rent and flooding gets out of hand, the rich will move to Ikeja, Surulere and Ogudu. The struggling occupants of Ogudu, Surulere and Ikeja will be pushed to Ikotun. Those in Ikotun will move to Sagamu. Sagamu folks will move to Ikire.

If something is not broken, don’t fix it. The NYSC uniform is one of those things that has been perfect since day 1. I don’t think I have ever met anyone who has said anything negative about it. There is no color more Nigerian than that color combination. It’s a thing of pride.

I was driving when I noticed a traffic camera flash as I passed. I knew I wasn't speeding, so I figured it had to be a mistake. Just to be sure, I turned around and drove past the same spot again, this time even slower. Flash! Curious now, I went around again, driving at a snail's pace. Flash! At this point, I thought it was hilarious, so I passed by two more times, each slower than the last. Flash, flash! I couldn't stop laughing. I was convinced the camera was broken. Two weeks later, five tickets arrived in the my mail... Every single one was for driving without a seat belt. 😂

I submitted a proposal on Monday that would see the possibility of using CRISPR-CAS13 to deliver siRNA vehicled drugs to the posterior section of the eyes. This could permanently end AMD and glaucoma. This is definitely the work of CRISPR-CAS9. Science is beautiful.
