#ሳወት is one of the TPLF’s political #ectopic_pregnancies.😆 Its members appear to promote hostility toward Ethiopia among Tigrayan youth, perhaps a 1000 times more aggressively than the TPLF itself. The irony is that many of them reside comfortably in Addis Ababa, where they send their children to good schools while preaching hostility toward the country. Interpreted version of the image: Our brother from the @salsayweyaneti1 is arguing that the relationship between Tigray and Ethiopia has effectively come to an end and that Tigray’s separation from Ethiopia has become a historical reality. According to his perspective, the historical, religious, and cultural bonds that once connected the two have lost their significance. He further claims that, in the minds of Tigrayans, Ethiopia is now regarded like any other African country rather than as a country with which they share a common identity and destiny. Consequently, he suggests that Tigrayans no longer celebrate Ethiopia’s national victories or share in its national tragedies. What remains, in his view, is merely the formal and procedural question of separation. To me, this is nothing more than an exercise in political fantasy. Promoting hatred toward one’s own country among the youth is an irresponsible way to conduct politics.
