GIGI arrived at the
#Manhattan Pound 7 days ago. She is extremely fearful. Her body is tense, and her tail is tucked between her legs. When being led back to her kennel, she hesitates on the leash—but this can be corrected with gentle encouragement and light pressure on the leash.
We therefore recommend an experienced adult household.

Hello rescue community.👋 The monsters at Corpus are at it again. They want 15 kennels freed up by Friday or they start murdering. 🤬🤬🤬. We cant tag 15 dogs. Our plan is to try and save 6. We are praying other rescues will also help. 🙏 To do this we desperately need your help. Please donate. 🙏🙏
Go to our X page ➡️ @FHDRofSETX and click on our website link.
No donation is too small. Below are the pups that we hope to tag. Most came from a horrific hoarding situation. They have never known love or kindness. We hope their stories dont end here.

This is why we call it the “Pilot In Command”
This happened in the same vicinity where the ill-fated Lear Jet hit the storm cell.
JetBlue pilot en route from Fort Lauderdale to Austin says to ATC:
“So you're gonna make us go through a, uh, severe thunderstorm?”
The captain then commanded the situation and overrode the ATC:
“So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.”
Sometimes piloting demands a specific set of traits - decisiveness, independent judgment, and the backbone to reject an instruction when it doesn’t feel right.
Refusing the assigned heading showed exactly that kind of assertive leadership.
Whoever is pilot monitoring must make these tough calls but ultimately, the captain is the final authority and ultimately accountable for every soul on board.

Such a beautiful message from Robert De Niro for the Ukrainian people 🇺🇦❤️:
"Hello, I'm Robert De Niro, speaking to you from New York to express my support and solidarity with the brave Ukrainian people.
You are not only standing up for yourselves and your beautiful country, you are standing up for democracy and freedom for the world.
Because if the war criminal Putin is successful in his illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine, no country will be safe.
You have our love, our respect, our support and our gratitude.
Slava Ukraini!"
........
Just, wow 🫡
Stay strong as you are 🇺🇦🙌
