Wish more tech leaders thought this carefully about deploying their wealth. Kids ages 11–17, esp those in foster care often left behind with little support. Targeted capital can give them a real foundation for financial independence and wealth creation.
Robert and I are thrilled that our gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock will be distributed to children’s Trump accounts in December!   Our initial gift (shares transferring to escrow as we speak) will go to 11 to 17-year-olds who live in zip codes with median family income (MFI) of $57,000 or less, and to those who live in zip codes with too few residents for an MFI to be reported in the census. These families should receive a notice by Monday.    In a few weeks, an additional gift will be finalized for eligible 11 to 17-year-old children in military families serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children whose MFI is $90,000 or less living in counties near our home in the great state of Texas.   Thank you to the incredible team @SpaceX, @Treasury, @IRS, @DellFdn, @GreaterHorizons, @InvestAmerica24, and the legal firms of Morgan Lewis and Gibson Dunn for working over the past few months to make this happen.   We are deeply grateful for the groundbreaking work that Brad Gerstner @altcap and @MichaelDell have done for the long-term financial security for millions of kids.   God Bless America!

FYI, @DanielLurie The Great Highway was an emergency route. When the next major earthquake hits SF, those lost evacuation options will cost lives. You've dumped millions into failed transit while playing political games. That disaster is yours to own.

No such thing as an iconic highway. It's part of nature. Get that shit out of here. What you have is the best possible use case, a limited usage road that should eventually be destroyed

Consistent with prior, more partial indicators of the US labor market, the October Jobs Report came in very strong, across the board: • Nonfarm Payrolls: +165,000 (with net upward revisions of +84,000 for the prior two months) • Unemployment Rate: 4.1% (below the consensus expectation of an unchanged 4.2%) • Average Hourly Earnings: +0.4% MoM (hotter than the 0.3% expected) • Labor Force Participation: Edged higher to 61.9% (expectations were for no change at 61.8%). #economy #markets #jobs #employment #unemployment #wages

This is your legacy @garrytan @GrowSF -- you own all of it
Ah, @garrytan bots. Was it worth partying hard with Xi while desperate SF small businesses were shuttering everywhere? Does it feel good to be a extremist pawn power broker with a raging anti-semite boss @paulg? Kakistocracy at its finest.

Sure, let's walk through the Tenderloin, Civic Center, or SoMa, where the poorest people live in an NGO fentanyl wasteland while the same people who also pushed to close Market St exploit that misery for clicks and clout. Right, @garrytan @GrowSF ?

Fantastic @google
$GOOGL formally announces a new $17 Billion DC in Wyoming. Google also announced they’re using $BE fuel cells for this project. Guess this news means it’s all over for the AI buildout.

This is AI abundance! @SpaceX proposes $50B for rural Cochise AZ, a community that never sees investment on this scale. Lower power bills, billions in infrastructure, thousands of jobs & lasting local wealth. This is how AI transform communities across America. WTG @elonmusk 🚀
Riley Trettel (Energy & Data Center Development at SpaceX) in yesterdays Cochise Data Center meeting. He claims the project will deliver up to: - 40% off residential power bills for Sulphur Springs members, for the life of the project - $53 million a year to the SSVEC Foundation, for education and the community - $190 million a year in extra capital for Sulphur Springs, for projects or back to members - $200 million a year for AEPCO and its members. About $100 million of that for Sulphur Springs - $3.6 billion in new power lines, paid by SpaceX and given to the co-op. The co-op takes on no debt - $30 to $100 million a year in new property tax, and a 20% cut in everyone else's county property taxes - $250 million, one time, in sales tax. He said it could pay off the jail bond and fund the sheriff, fire districts, and the hospital - $50 billion invested in the project - 1,000 permanent jobs and 5,000 construction jobs - No industrial water. Water for staff and maintenance about equal to 20–30 homes a year - No gas turbines and no power plant on the site. The computers buy power from the co-op grid - Dark-sky lighting, pointed at the ground - Cooling equipment more than 1,500 feet from any neighboring property line or public road This project is clearly extremely positive for the area.

Great Highway was once part of historic Highway 1, one of San Francisco’s most beautiful coastal drives. Now that's gone, thanks to shortsighted greedy people more interested in tribal politics & dividing the city than building something great for all San Franciscans. SAD
The saddest thing about this election for me is that I'll never get to drive on this beautiful road again. Such a California experience. And there's absolutely nothing there. No shops, no restaurants, no crowds. No reason a pedestrian needs to cross the road repeatedly.

So depressing
BREAKING: DOJ assistant AG for civil rights Harmeet Dhillon has resigned following Democrats' midterm sweep, according to Fox News. The announcement comes as Secretary of State Marco Rubio is also considering resigning, according to The Independent. "Former officials said the [DOJ] is bracing for multiple other top political appointees to exit in the lame duck period before the New Year," Bloomberg reports. Up to five cabinet members are reportedly considering leaving the Trump administration.

AI’s moment to win America. If you believe in abundance, get the hell out of greedy Silicon Valley. Spread the wealth. Invest in communities. Turn them into economic powerhouses. Sell Americans on prosperity, not some bullshit “compute campuses.” @sama hire a damn copywriter!

Mr. Vice-President, Please allow me to present a different perspective. The problem was not the Iran War. It was the cease fire. If you start a war, you need to win it and finish it – otherwise don’t start it. This war should have been over six months ago, with the Strait of Hormuz wide open and oil flowing. The second and third tiers of Iranian leadership should have been destroyed, and we should have supported the pro-western forces who could have taken leadership. We stood on the brink of a new, more peaceful Middle East - and then we blinked. We had a chance not only to deny Iran nuclear weapons, but to get rid of the world’s biggest supporter of terrorism. Instead, we had a cease fire, which was followed by months of will we or won’t we finish the job. Every day was a different message. There still is. Is the war over? Is it about to begin? No one knows. There is confusion and inconsistency. In June 2025, America was not involved. This was an Israel vs Iran issue. No one forced the United States to attack Iran then, or in February of 2026. It was a decision made by President Trump. In my opinion, it was the right decision. Once the decision was made, we should not have stopped until the regime fell. But instead, you negotiated a cease fire that didn’t last, didn’t work and left us in no man’s land, with higher prices and our troops still deployed. Our troops could have been home, the Navy returned to its bases, a peaceful regime in place , new alliances forged, and gas prices below $3.00 a gallon. No, Mr. Vice President. It’s not the war. It’s the so-called cease fire.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

The Iran war did not lose Trump the midterms. JD Vance’s pathetic negotiating strategy did. We had the mullahs crushed militarily in April, but JD deliberately tried to save them. What an evil man. It’s time to finish the job once and for all. No more appeasement. Free Iran!

This all day...
The biggest lesson is that when Republicans stay close to our policies of economic freedom, lower taxes, and smaller government, we win. We need to return to that, stop the distractions, and get back to work for the American people.
