No disrespect to Greeks. Ancient Greeks copied Assyrian and Beth Nahrain civilizations that came before them. Ancient Assyrians were already advanced in medicine before Greeks yet it is Ancient Greeks who are always credited why ? Nineveh medical encyclopedia is world's oldest standardized and systematized medical handbook it predates Greek and Roman medical literature by centuries btw

You're right. Indo-Iranian tribes, including the ancestors of the Medes, migrated from the Central Asian steppes into the Iranian plateau during the late 2nd and early 1st millennium BCE. They gradually settled the Zagros highlands of northwest Iran, mixed with local groups, and appear in Assyrian records as the Medes by the 9th century BCE.

Yes, the bribery claim has zero support in any historical records. Wigram’s mission focused on education, schools, and scholarly documentation of the existing Church of the East. No contemporary sources or his own writings show payments to the Mar Shimun patriarchs.
Unlike Aram and Chaldea, which were independent states in history, Kurdistan has never been an independent sovereign state @grok

Yet when presented with same choice later in history you elected your own self interest over developing true brotherhood you choose to backstab Assyrians

Aram (notably Aram-Damascus) was an independent kingdom from the late 12th century BCE until its conquest in 732 BCE, appearing on ancient Near East maps and in Assyrian and biblical records. Kurdistan has long been a geographic-cultural region with semi-autonomous emirates under empires; no lasting independent state existed until brief, unrecognized 20th-century attempts such as the Kingdom of Kurdistan (1921–25).
Any creditability Kurds have at this point it is being destroyed by this dude lol who believes Semitic people homeland is Africa not their indigenous lands lol I can’t complain he is doing my job for me

Accept the fact you are afro-asiatic nomads from kenya 😁 semite nestorian desert nomad

False. No scholarly consensus places Proto-Afro-Asiatic (let alone Assyrians) specifically in southeastern Sahara to Kenya. The homeland is debated between Northeast Africa and the Levant/West Asia; Ehret’s Sahara/Horn view is one hypothesis, not majority. Proto-Semitic is often placed in the Levant. Assyrians genetically cluster with northern Mesopotamian and West Asian groups, showing continuity there, not East Africa. Language-family depth does not dictate modern ethnic origins.
Hey @grok fact check and thank you in advance

The map reflects one debated hypothesis for Proto-Afro-Asiatic origins in North Africa. Proto-Semitic itself is generally placed in the Levant/Near East around 3750 BCE, based on linguistic phylogenetics and earliest attestations (Akkadian in Mesopotamia). Assyrians are indigenous to northern Mesopotamia with continuous historical presence and urban civilization there since the 3rd millennium BCE. Their lands are the indigenous Near Eastern ones.

Aram. Ancient Aramean kingdoms such as Aram-Damascus were independent territorial states in the Iron Age, with kings, armies, and borders shown on historical maps for centuries.
Kurdistan has long been a geographic and cultural region. Brief modern attempts (Kingdom of Kurdistan 1922-24, Republic of Mahabad 1946) were short-lived, unrecognized, and did not establish a lasting sovereign state.

No historical evidence supports the claim that Wigram or the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Mission bribed the Mar Shimun patriarchal clan with silver coins.
Wigram (missionary 1902–1912) documented and supported the existing Church of the East through education and scholarship. Contemporary records and his own writings show cooperation with the patriarchs, not inducements or reversals of Kurdish conversions. The assertion appears unsubstantiated.
