In the NHS in England, you earn 30% extra for working weekend nights and Saturday day shifts, and 60% extra for Saturday night and Sunday day shifts.

I’ve seen nurses go 1 year without jobs even after arriving Canada as a PR. I’d lose my mind please
It’s why as much as I dislike the UK, I still like the fact, you can pass all your Exams and get to work ASAP
I like Working
Nigerians often emphasise the importance of knowing CPR, which is absolutely great. However, CPR doesn’t always work in isolation. It needs to be supported by a functional emergency response system, including accessible ambulances, defibrillators and timely access to hospital care. CPR knowledge is important but so is the system that supports it.

If you vote illegally, we will find you. We will track you down, arrest you, and prosecute you.
There will be no escape.
Canada is one of the few Western countries where a Nurse can arrive as a permanent resident and still spend months struggling to secure a nursing job. It’s crazy how difficult things are in that country.
The Canadian economy is getting so bad that even newly landed immigrants are regretting coming here.
I work with a Nigerian guy who brought his entire family here for a better life. In this case they found that the grass wasn't greener on the otherside.
Suddenly he realized that his wage was only enough to cover his rent. Back home his income was enough to care of the entire family. He spent his first months here starving so his wife and kids could eat.
Now his wife needs to work out of necessity instead of focusing on raising their kids.
Now distraught both him and his wife are regretting coming here. Worst yet they can't afford to return, they spent their life savings to live in Canada.
Stories like these are all too common thanks to the Liberals morally bankrupt policies.
Our economy is literally a ponzi scheme preying on newcomers to artificially inflate real estate and rent.
Trump is being punished by voters at the ballot box. This is how Nigerians should teach APC and Tinubu a lesson too

FBA never challenge white immigrants: you never see white Americans tell white immigrants you’re not welcome. but you see Black people tell other Black people you’re not welcome.

Start a health and family emergency fund this month.
Small is fine.
Set up a fixed amount to move out of your salary on payday, before you spend anything.
Keep it somewhere you can withdraw fast, like a money market fund.
Do not touch it for anything else.

Whenever you want to fund a wedding, buy a car, build a house or embark on any major project, learn to spend your investment returns, not your capital.
For example, if you have ₦10 million and want to spend ₦2 million on a wedding, consider investing the money in an asset that earns you 15%_20% then fund it with the returns.
The idea is simple. If you keep on spending your money, it’d finish someday. Returns don’t finish.
I will never be afraid to leave a foreign country. Nigeria may not be a safe haven, but it’s home, and I’m ready to return and fight for a better life. I will never be desperate to stay abroad at all costs.

Your feelings are hurt because she's telling the truth.
She said same thing thousands of right thinking Black Americans who value self-preservation have been saying for decades.
Stop being a bitch. 😂

Under the Earned Settlement model set out before Parliament today, the right to live in the UK permanently will no longer be granted automatically after five years.
Instead, it will be earned.
Under the reforms:

➡️ People who enter illegally, including by small boat, face a wait of up to 30 years to settle
➡️ Care workers who meet the visa requirements will retain a five-year route

➡️ Migrants who claim benefits face a 20-year wait for settlement
➡️ Migrants with a criminal record will be prevented from settling in the UK
➡️ Migrants will be required to meet A-level standard English to settle in the UK
