Finally, Nairobians are getting a taste of this kind of unconventional marketing and I find it quite interesting.
This life size installation in Nairobi CBD by @SuperbrandsEA has people stopping, taking pictures and, more importantly, wondering what is inside.
For a long time, we have been a billboard and poster city. I love how this type of advertising introduces curiosity. It is something unusual.
I have always believed that brands need to think beyond simply placing messages in front of people and explore interesting approaches that make people want to engage without being asked.
We call this experiential and ambient marketing. Think of it this way: how can you turn an ordinary public space into an experience that gets people talking and gives them something worth sharing?
I love how Superbrands has creatively unveiled its 2026 list, recognising brands that have built strong reputations, earned consumer trust and established meaningful connections with their audiences. This is how you bring visibility and engagement into brand building.
We have many ways to get people talking about our brands today, but:
📌 What makes them choose you tomorrow?
📌 What makes them trust you?
📌 What makes them remain interested in what you offer?
📌 What keeps them coming back?
For me, that is what being a Superbrand should mean. We need to build recognisable names but, most importantly, remain relevant, deliver value and build relationships that stand the test of time.
Congratulations to the brands recognised in the 2026 Superbrands list!

Other countries are now replicating what happened in Brazil that led to victory for president Lula.
Mass digital mobilisation is going to be the next campaign strategy in this digital age.
With growth in access to Internet, smartphones and young population, election campaigns are taking new shape.
Say AI Agent not AI Model
We’ve designed an Ai model that can handle the entire customer flow for a charter airline. Calculating flight quotes, designing packages, recommending aircraft and soon, handling customer enquiries.
Its powered by qcaero.app and Claude💪🏾

Working for a reputable firm that pays well and still find ways to commit fraud is ridiculous. Many wish to get an opportunity to work here.

Someone on Reddit built his wife a job search app.
She is a junior software engineer, and her job search had dragged on for almost 10 months. Tailoring a resume for every posting took ages.
So he built Dossier. It finds postings, then writes a tailored resume, cover letter and email for each job, using only facts from her profile.
It tracks every application from draft to offer on a board, and it runs on your own server, with a local AI model option, so your data stays with you.
She landed a job with it, so he open-sourced it for anyone in the same spot.
It is free at github.com/AienTech/dossier.

Last week in Cologne I showed how you can use the GitHub Copilot App and Foundry to build an agent you can deploy across Teams, Outlook or an app of your choice.
I also showed how you can integrate our new Decision 1 model for intent classification. I'm interested in agents that can recognise intent and then take action independetly if they decide they can be helpful, so this was fun to show!
Janet can setup her own Masterclass on whatever topic she wants. There so many issues to be addressed in Kenya, marriage being part of them, anyone can pick a topic that best suits them and do a masterclass.
This is just trying to appear relevant on somebodies priorities.
Kenyan media personality Janet Mbugua has weighed in on gospel singer Mercy Masika’s Becoming a Wife masterclass.
She questioned its timing amid rising concerns over femicide, gender-based violence and sexual abuse in Kenya.
Janet challenged the church to speak up about violence against women, arguing that organising marriage masterclasses while women are fighting for their safety and justice seems ironic.
The debate has sparked mixed reactions, with some questioning why there is no equivalent masterclass for men, while others argue that issues such as endometriosis and women’s health deserve more attention.
Kenya's roads are getting deadlier. 🚨
Checked some stats .
Recorded road deaths held near 3,000/yr for most of the 2000s–2010s. Since 2021 they've averaged ~4,600/yr, and 2026 had already hit 2,150 by June.
Pedestrians & boda riders bear the brunt. Official counts miss hospital deaths too. #RoadSafetyKE
Before declaring a national disaster there are lots of major issues that NTSA has to address, Poor road signage , unroadworthy vehicles , corruption during inspections, unlicensed driving schools e.t.c .
Don't you think this should be the starting point ?
Declare road safety a national disaster
Road crashes have reached a national emergency level, with about 20,000 crashes claiming over 5,000 lives annually, destroying families, overwhelming our health system and eroding economic productivity.
As an Authority, we propose that road traffic crashes be declared a national disaster to mobilise urgent government action, secure adequate funding and ensure coordinated enforcement.
Such a declaration would enable whole-of-government coordination under clear accountability, and enforce measurable targets across road agencies, the National Police Service, the health sector and county governments.
Our goal is simple: save lives, reduce fatalities and serious injuries, and protect Kenya's human capital.
Road safety is not just a transport issue; it is a national development and security priority.
With everyone's support, we can avert this disaster.
