After a great deal of thought and conversations with my agent Garrett Parcell, others at the Paragon group, my family, and those I trust most, I have made the difficult decision not to sign with the Cleveland Guardians. I have a great deal of respect for that organization and for everyone I met throughout this process. We were not able to come to an agreement, but I appreciate the time they invested in getting to know me and my family. To my family, my coaches, my teammates, and everyone who has supported me along the way: thank you. Your belief in me means more than I can put into words. I am excited for what’s next!

‘26 LHP Logan Schmidt Ganesha High School @LSUbaseball Signee FB: 93-96 🔥 SL: 78-81 CH: 81-85 Dominant playoff start ✅ CG shutout w/ 14 Ks‼️ Established inner half early on to RHHs. SL stood out in this look w/ CH used sparingly in primarily early counts. 71 of 98 pitches for K’s. Had 9️⃣5️⃣ in back pocket whenever he needed it ⛽️👍 @vinniealfino42 / @ShooterHunt / @Loganschmidt27

’26 LHP Logan Schmidt @Loganschmidt27 Ganesha HS Schmidt lived up to the hype going 5.0 IP with 10 K, 3 BB, 1 H. The lone hit never left the infield. FB had real life at the bottom of the zone, CB was sharp downhill, and the CH was the separator with nearly 10 mph of separation and plenty of whiffs. Real 1st-round buzz. Schmidt done after 5: 6K-1BB (HBP) 0er 54-74K Heavy CH use to get out of some jams stirred up by D miscues. Still had 94-95 when needed w/ runners on. More control>command. CB will dictate ceiling. 🎥👇: •95 FB to end 4th •83 CH to end 1st #MLBDraft || @PrepBaseballCA
