The dumbest thing I did was be a 'good boy' for my entire working life: work hard and pay my taxes. 45 years of being systematically and arbitrarily robbed by criminals, some wearing blue ties, some wearing red, and even some sporting a splash of yellow.
I now struggle to pay my bills in retirement and I am still being fleeced via tax by the same clowns.
Meanwhile, these crooks choose to send cash abroad, squander it on insane initiatives such as 'net zero' and DEI, pay themselves tidy expenses, fund wars, and welcome with open arms anyone illegally entering the country, people they are happy to spend billions of pounds on whilst simultaneously making those of us who paid a fair whack into the system, struggle.
People often ask me why I don't vote any more ... and I think it should be fairly obvious. None of these 'senior politicians', across all parties, have any interest in the wellbeing of the common man or woman. They are only interested in their own self-promotion and pressing ahead with whatever harebrained agendas they support whilst in power.
It's only the window dressing that changes ... what awaits in the shop is always the same bullshit that shafts the good, honest folk of this country.

Renting in the UK is fucking backwards.
You can spend £1,200 a month paying someone else's mortgage.
That's £14,400 a year going towards an asset you'll never own.
But the bank won't give you an £800 a month mortgage because you “can't afford the repayments.”
Apparently £1,200 a month is affordable when it goes to your landlord.
But £800 a month is suddenly unaffordable when it goes towards owning the place yourself.
Make it make sense.

Replying to @Ryanair
@Ryanair my 86 year Nan was due to land at Bristol Airport at 21:30 last night, but her flight was diverted to Birmingham due to an incident at Bristol. After speaking to a member of your live chat team, I was assured that, once she had collected her suitcase

I don't want to “download the app” to pay for parking. I don't want to “create an account” to see a menu. I don't want to “provide feedback” on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash

GOOD POINT👇👇👇
To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.
YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.
Signed ......All of us
People we need to share this statement its basically about PROFIT to the stores AND putting People out of a JOB....!!!

Happy international women’s day. Labour have made it illegal to wolf whistle at a woman but acceptable for a man to ‘identify’ into a women’s changing rooms & watch women & young girls get undressed. 🤯
Hey @sainsburys you’ve not only made the chocolate unstealable, it’s also unsellable. Can’t even get it out without ripping the product to pieces. The whole shelf has these plastic sliders, so no gaps to slide them out of the way?????

Digital ID for every adult is not progress. It is the end of a free society dressed up as convenience.
I am a cyber security specialist. This is my take.
They are selling it as a fix for illegal migration. That is bollocks.
We spend hundreds of billions a year on cyber security and yet the volume of breaches is breaking records. The threat is growing faster than the spend.
Digital ID will not stop boats. It will not stop trafficking gangs. It will not fix a broken border.
Criminals will work around it.
Honest citizens will pay the price.
It builds giant data banks that track where you go, what you buy, what you read and who you speak to.
It links your identity to every checkpoint in daily life.
One breach and your life is exposed.
Look at Jaguar Land Rover and the airports in recent weeks. Now imagine that at national scale on an ID system tied to everything you need to live your daily life.
Here is the risk that ministers will not admit.
Ransomware seeded through a supplier or an insider:
It lies quiet for months.
It rolls through the backups.
On trigger day the register and the recovery sets are both encrypted.
Payments fail. Health and benefits stall. Borders slow. Citizens are frozen out until a ransom is paid or the state rebuilds from scratch.
Centralise identity and you centralise failure.
Do not fall for the pitch.
Function creep is certain.
It starts as login.
It becomes access to money, travel, speech and public services.
It turns rights into permissions controlled by the state and its contractors.
It creates a single point of failure for criminals, insiders and hostile states to target.
It will punish the elderly, the poor and anyone who is not always online.
It will centralise risk and outsource blame.
It will not stop fraud.
It will not stop illegal migration.
It will build the machinery for a social credit system by stealth.
If ministers cared about the border, they would enforce current laws, resource patrols and processing, close loopholes and remove those with no right to stay.
You do not need a national ID to do any of that.
We scrapped ID cards in 2010 for a reason.
Britain does not need a central register to prove age or status.
Yes to privacy first proofs. No to a database state.

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.

I'm going to try this again because I didn't come close to saying what I wanted to say.
Stop rating women. We have an epidemic of girls and young women harming themselves because they cannot live up to the beauty standards set by the media, influencers, content creators and anyone else who has a platform.
It was difficult enough in the '80s when we were expected to look like Christie Brinkley or Cindy Crawford. All we had to do was starve ourselves to look like them, or binge and purge.
Nowadays women and girls are just opting out of womanhood. Today young women are choosing to be men and removing their healthy breasts, because they believe they cannot live up to these beauty standards.
In what world is Taylor Swift mid? None. There is no world in which she is mid. Even if she is not your cup of tea, she is hard working, energetic, diligent, disciplined.
Why wouldn't you want young women to look up to her?
Imagine a little girl in her awkward stage who sees that comment and thinks to herself she will never achieve 'mid' status no matter what she does.
Knock it off. We've had enough.

We live in Britain in 2024, there should not be a mad rush at 8am in order to speak to a doctor.
It's just ludicrous how this has not been resolved, across all surgeries yet.
How many don't even bother, knowing the hassle?
It is absolutely amazing that this is still going on.

LONDON IS SHITE. A thread based on one day 🧵
Need a new coat for football tomorrow, Forest away, weather looks dodgy, so took a trip into central London
1. “Engineering works” on trains. So onto a packed bus. It stinks of weed. Random geezer gets into huge argument with stranger in unknown language
2. At the shop, I have to get buzzed in. It soon becomes clear why. The cashier tells me mobs of three lads at a time go in to steal North Face puffas. I try on two coats. Both have broken padlocks in pockets, ripped off of other stolen items & stashed. Cashier sighs, says “this is normal. The police never turn up, so we’ve stopped calling”
3. At a tourist pub, a distraught American lady has had her handbag lifted
4. Packs of immigrant Deliveroo riders outside most takeaways or restaurant. Are these the highly-skilled brain surgeons or nuclear physicists the Guardian constantly tell us enrich our country?
5. Have to take an Uber home. £25 for a 3.5 mile journey which takes 50 minutes
6. Through Camberwell, drugged-up fella going mental lying down on pavement
7. Cars now move slower than horses and carts did in London in the 1800s. This is a fact, Google it
8. If you were driving your own car, it would be Congestion Charge & ULEZ for non-compliant vehicles like mine (I refuse to be forced to upgrade, which might sound like a self-inflicted wound, but my diesel motor is great & only has 45k miles)
9. There’s no wonder the high street is dying. Shoplifting totally normalised. It’s slow, expensive. The threat of crime & nutters is omnipresent. I’ve lived in London for 30 years and huge parts of it now just feel like quasi Third World dumps
10. I’ve passed two sets of flowers tied to lampposts on my route back. Yet more wilted memorials to stab victims, which are so normal in London now, folks barely notice
11. I love my life, I love my London-based job, my kids & missus. I bought a house when it was still affordable and this city has been kind to me. But those days are over. I’ve totally fallen out of love with London. No way on earth would I recommend any young person move here any more. It’s over ENDS

Genuine question.
What is the point of private schools, apart from to give more fortunate children a further edge in life than children of ordinary working families?
Shouldn't we just make all state schools as good as possible?

I can barely breath. I hope every single fucking MP listens to the pain of this woman and it haunts their utterly shitty fuckling ears for the rest of their shitty useless fucking lives. Our children aren't statistics. They're our children. Every mother in the country waits for this horror, every single day when their kids are out in this broken country. Many of us lay awake at night catastrophising about this very thing. My Lord, my heart. I can feel her pain.
Have a listen if you dare to the harrowing screams of a mum whose son has just been knifed to death in Starmergeddon while @Keir_Starmer and @UKLabour fret NOT about knife crime, but about smoking outside.
