Fred has been spat at, called a war monger and worst of all at Brent Cross, he was told by security that he wouldn’t be able to come in and stand unless he REMOVED HIS MEDALS AND UNION JACK BADGE.

My sister went to Waitrose on Sunday in Mill Hill East and there was a veteran called Fred selling poppies. She went to buy one for him and as it was chilly outside asked to buy him a coffee to warm him up. In conversation she heard from him how he has been spat at, called a racist and a warmonger … all for selling poppies to remember our most brave and fallen heroes. It broke my heart. What has become of this country? Where is the gratitude to those that lay down their lives so we could be free? Where has pride in our country gone?
I’ve been there every day since in the hope of seeing him, but as yet, Fred hasn’t returned.

Things are a bit up and down again; the same with her bloods 🤯. Leonie has only been managing to eat minimal amounts of food since her spinal surgery. Whatever she does manage to eat, it's throwing it out, one way or another. She's also got a very sore area which is being treated with creams & Atrauman mesh. Another new sponge drain was fitted today on her surgical wound. Another change in the antibiotics, based on the results after the blood thinner is administered. Another for a week, then change again. It's such a long process for Leonie to recover from this & try to clear the E. coli/Sepsis out of her body. She has been utterly remarkable in dealing with all this. I'm left extremely worried because the E.Coli can start multiplying again back into Sepsis. This is what everyone involved is trying to stop, so as not to open her back up & then start to clean the metalwork; this is risky again for her for many reasons. Her body is very weak and losing nearly 2 stone in 5 weeks is shocking. Please share. #TeamLeonie 💔💪🏼 #SpinalHealth #Sepsis #Ecoli

🚨 BREAKING: The Green Party member who wrote the “Zionism is racism” motion was named in US court papers as a close friend of an al-Qaeda terrorist who planned to bomb London Heathrow.
• Lubna Speitan’s motion, calling for a single Palestinian state by “all available means”, passed at conference by 1,022 votes to 813.
• Before the vote she was filmed saying Zionists should be “hunted in the same way as Nazi oppressors” and that synagogues should be “confronted”.
• US filings identify her as a close friend of Minh Quang Pham, a British-Vietnamese member of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula convicted over a plot to bomb Heathrow. In 2016, he was sentenced by a US court to 44 years in prison.
• In a February 2016 letter she offered to speak for his character and called him one of the kindest and most trustworthy people she had known. She asked the judge to consider dismissing the case.
