Channels TV reported that Peter Obi rehabilitated over 200 secondary schools and gave each an initial grant of N10 million. That was the first step to what later translated to Anambra becoming number one in education in the whole of Nigeria during Peter Obi's time in office. When APC says that he didn't build any school, show them this. Vote this man. The evidence that he is a good man is everywhere.

The APC has murdered at least three NDC supporters this year alone. In 2023, they unleashed Oro, Iya Chukudi, & Yoruba Ronu. They attacked Nigerians who looked like a certain tribe in Lagos. They went round all the LGAs threatening Lagosians not to vote for LP. In 2015, the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, threatened that Igbo residents would die in the Lagos lagoon if they did not vote for the APC governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode. Yet, the heavens did not fall. We saw Senator Francis Fadahunsi threaten to kill people in the Osun election. More than thirteen Nigerians were murdered by the APC in Osun State. Emperor Jarret Tenebe, who is their party chairman in Edo, threatened to shoot Nigerians with AK-47s. They did all of these things, & the heavens did not fall. No arrests were made. Tinubu met with the bishops, & opened his mouth & said that all is fair in politics. Nigerians replied with “Rig and Die.” Now the APC is crying & trending a very stupid hashtag. A party neck-deep in rigging & violence has finally met its match. They threatened to soak the blood of dog & baboon on the streets, & they did! Let me repeat: IF YOU RIG, YOU DIE! If you don’t want to DIE, then don’t RIG! 2027 is aura for aura, okra for okra. If you defeat us in a free & fair contest, all of us will congratulate you. It’s ELECTION, not WAR. But those intending to rig & shout GO TO COURT should just write their will. Parents should hold their children. No politician should send you on a fool’s errand while their own children relax in air-conditioned comforts. No one has the monopoly on violence……. Intimidation will not be tolerated this time!

If you're an APC supporter, whenever you see me post about Peter Obi, politics or governance, feel free to counter it or disagree with it. I have no probems with that. Where you and I will have problems is if you disagree disrespectfully. I can even quote you or repost your disagreement. But you can't change my mind. I don't like your principal because he has made millions of Nigerians poorer. End.

You're a good man, sir. May God see you through this very tough journey. I, and all well-meaning Nigerians are behind you. Amen 🙏.
IMO STATE: OUR CONVERSATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE CONTINUE Our conversations and engagement with the people continued yesterday, 31st October 2026, as we journeyed from Yenagoa to Owerri, Imo State, for another edition of our ongoing town hall meeting series. Upon arrival, I began with a visit to one of the markets in Owerri, where I interacted with traders, buyers and other residents. Their stories and experiences offered yet another sobering reminder of how difficult life has become for ordinary Nigerians under the harsh economic policies of this administration. In my remarks at the town hall meeting, I reminded the good people of Imo State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it necessary to spend even one night in Imo State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. Meanwhile, his administration has accumulated enormous debts without delivering commensurate improvements in the lives of Nigerians. Our country is now ranked among the hungriest nations in the world, with over 140 million people living in multidimensional poverty. To compound this crisis, Nigeria remains one of the most terrorised countries in the world, while approximately 18 million children are out of school. I reassured the people of Imo State that all hope is not lost. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I are committed to securing and uniting our country, making massive investments in critical sectors such as health and education, and lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty. Among the leading contenders, we believe we possess the experience, competence, capacity, commitment and readiness required to undertake the difficult but necessary task of turning Nigeria around. During the interactive session, questions were also raised about the protection of our votes. I encouraged our people to come out in their numbers, exercise their democratic rights and, more importantly, remain vigilant and stay with their votes until the final results are declared. I sincerely thank our teeming supporters, party candidates, party members, organisers and, most importantly, the good people of Imo State for their warmth, enthusiasm and overwhelming support. The journey to a new Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Together, we can build a country that works for everyone. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

Have you seen any known APC supporter post anything about the AI images that were discovered in the INEC register? Since they are clamoring for good "leadership", are they not supposed to be calling for an independent scrutiny of INEC? Please show me one if you have seen. End.

The team from Rome has arrived in Nigeria to experience firsthand the incredible talent we have here. We made the entire continent proud at the last Olympiad Finals, and the world is beginning to take notice. This is their first visit to Africa, and they absolutely love the energy and enthusiasm of our people. However, one of their first observations was quite troubling: the unpleasant smells, the dirty environment, the heavily polluted and dangerous waterways, and the general lack of orderliness. These are things we must confront as a society. Our human potential is extraordinary, but our environment must reflect that greatness. The world is beginning to recognize our efforts, and this is only the beginning. We are laying the foundation for something extraordinary for the next generation.

In Owerri today, Peter Obi’s campaign vehicle moved slowly through a market on the way to the NDC town hall. What happened next was simple and, for many, unexpectedly moving: market women began pressing foodstuffs- tomatoes, vegetables, fruits and other produce, into the vehicle and toward him. Babies were lifted up. People smiled, waved and chanted. No cash was being distributed. The goods flowing were the women’s own stock. This is worth pausing over because Nigerian politics has trained people to read public displays of affection as either carefully staged or purely transactional. “Stomach infrastructure,” rice distributions, cash handouts and hired crowds are the familiar grammar. Here the grammar was inverted. Women whose daily capital is the produce they sell chose to give some of it away. In an economy where food prices have remained punishing and many small traders are operating with thin or negative margins, that is not a trivial gesture. It is a small personal sacrifice offered as recognition. Market women occupy a distinctive place in Nigerian public life. They are not abstract “voters.” They are the operating system of the informal economy; the people who buy from farmers, sell to households, and carry the immediate shock of inflation and currency weakness. In many Igbo communities they also function as social barometers. When they warm to a politician, it is usually because they have already formed a judgment about character, consistency or past performance. Obi’s long record of market visits (both as Anambra governor and as a candidate) and his repeated emphasis on production, small-scale trade and reducing the cost of living give that judgment a concrete reference point. The scene also sits inside a larger pattern visible across his current tour. He has been stopping in markets and interacting with traders in multiple states, not merely holding closed-door stakeholder meetings. The Owerri moment is one of the more spontaneous-looking examples. It does not prove that every crowd is organic or that every supporter is uninfluenced by party machinery, I agree, because this is politics. However, It does show that, in this particular place and at this particular time, a sizable group of ordinary traders felt moved enough to offer something of their own rather than simply receive. Politically, the Southeast remains Obi’s strongest base from 2023, and Imo is not an exception. What is striking is the durability of the emotional connection after the Labour Party fragmentation, the move to the NDC, and three years of national economic strain. The reverse gift; citizens giving the candidate part of their livelihood, is a vivid counter-image to the usual campaign exchange in which the candidate (or his agents) gives the citizen something in exchange for a photo or a vote. Whether that emotional capital can be converted into votes across a more competitive national field is a separate question. The video simply records that the capital still exists, and that it is being expressed in a language of affection rather than obligation. In a period when many Nigerians describe politics as extraction and leadership as distance, a market full of people voluntarily parting with their goods is a reminder of what recognition looks like when it is not purchased. That is why the clip feels emotional. It is not spectacle for its own sake. It is ordinary people briefly treating a politician as someone who has already earned a measure of their trust. End.

You told Nigerians we could no longer rely on borrowing. That was your excuse for removing fuel subsidy — to save money for development and to service our debts effectively. At one point, you even claimed Nigeria does not have a revenue problem. Yet today, you have borrowed more than all past presidents combined. They paid subsidy and did not plunge Nigeria into this level of debt. You removed subsidy, have borrowed even more in just three years, can't even fund your own budgets, and have nothing to show for it. To understand this kind of reform, one must be an idiot.

We have made significant progress in redesigning the Igbo Apprenticeship System. We have now signed an agreement with a German Ausbildung programme, one of the world’s most respected vocational training systems in the world. We will be selecting 20 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 from across the five South-Eastern states for specialised training in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, and other technical skills. The selected participants will first undergo nine months of intensive German language training in Enugu before securing Ausbildung placements and relocating to Germany for specialised vocational training. Upon completing their training, they will return to Nigeria to train others, transferring their knowledge and expertise to local communities as we progressively expand the programme. Our core focus is precision, technical excellence, and world-class craftsmanship. We want to develop a generation of highly skilled professionals who can build infrastructure, transform industries, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to the development of our society. These are the people who will build the future of our region. We are deliberately building the human capital required to transform the South East.
