A huge take from recent developements involving Meg's father is this... So many have proven themselves, once again, of being monumentally bad at judging character. Instead of truly listening to actual words spoken, by Meghan, they misinterpret, lie, reinvent what is said, and done, to try find a way to justify their own irrational hatred of a woman who has done so much good in the world, from the time she was a child. They called Tom a "good father" a "decent man", "poor, sick, heartbroken", whilst labelling his daughter "cold", "heartless", "abusive "... They got it WRONG. People like @according2_taz @danwootton @piersmorgan @RNN_RoyalNews @angelalevin1 @richardaeden @cg66 @thecarolemalone @StephanieSidley @nancytsidley @kinseyschofield , Tom Bower have made a living off bashing a woman that has done no wrong, whilst platforming, or cheering on a man that was clearly toxic, and abusive. Most of us, those who value character, and integrity, saw him for what he was right from the start. We didn’t need this new information to tell us Tom was not "decent" or was not a "good father". Those of us who do have the ability to judge a person's character well, saw the many red flags right from the start. When we pointed them out we were mocked, abused, ridiculed. News outlets like the @DailyMail @TheSun @DailyMirror @GMB @thenewyorkpost @thedailybeast @SkyNews @TalkTV have a lot to answer for. The relationship between a child, and a parent, should NEVER have become a stick used to beat that child with. It was never fair. It was never right, or ethical. The same people, the same organisations, and outlets, that threw their support behind Tom snr are the very same that have constantly tried to lie about Meghan's mother Doria. Doria, the woman who raised Meghan, the woman who took her to volunteer in homeless shelters, and soup kitchens when she was a child. The woman that helped Meghan care for Tom's sick mother when he, and Meghan's half siblings refused to do so. The woman who has worked hard her whole life to support herself, and her child. The woman who has not said a bad word about anyone. This is the parent they came for over these past years. This is who they still continue to drag through the gutter with their lies. Why? She has watched her only child be hated, abused, threatened, bullied, targeted, for close to a decade, yet has stayed quietly in the background, supporting. I am certain she knows it all. Knows the true scope of Meghan's experience as a member of the royal family. Knows exactly what she went through, yet she has continued to maintain her silence and support her child as a parent should. So why do they drag Doria, more than they ever have Tom, or Meghan's half siblings? Is it race? Or is it the fact that she is everything they are not? Good, decent, intelligent, kind. They had to create red flags where they didn’t exist, whilst simultaneously over looking those that were glaringly obvious on the other side of the family. They can try flip the narrative now. They can try blame Meghan and Doria, for Tom's behaviour. They can try gaslight, and delete, any support they once showed for this man, this alleged predator, but the internet is forever. We won't let them rewrite history. We won't let them forget that, once again, they threw their total support behind the wrong person. We will never let them erase the part they played. Will these people reflect? Will they, and the media, finally admit their own failings? I am certain they won't. Doing so would take courage, integrity, a conscience. Unfortunately people like this lack such things. Thankfully the universe has a way of righting wrongs, and ensuring those in the wrong are eventually dealt with, as we have witnessed today.
