Hello! My name is Kita🐾🐾. Recently, my sister Kiara🐾🐾 and I went hiking at Shenandoah National Park. It’s an hour away from the shelter in Northern Virginia where we’ve been living for almost 3 years now!
My sister is my best friend in the whole wide world. She helps me feel confident. She’s the one with the floppy ears; I’m the one with the pointy ears. We’re both sweet, calm, and gentle - but she’s a little less shy than I am. She likes to lead, and I am happy to follow close behind! We don’t like to go anywhere without each other, and that includes to our future home… if we ever find one 🥺
We were perfect passenger princesses in the car 🚗, and on the hike got lots of compliments and treats from nice hoomans! We’re learning that strangers aren’t so scary. We love other dogs too.
It’s hard for bonded pairs like us to get adopted❤️, but we love each other so much that it’s worth it and we won’t give up hope! The 2.5 years we’ve spent living in a shelter are 2.5 years we can NEVER get back. We’re low maintenance girls who just want a yard to play in, full bellies, occasional ear scratches, and to stay with each other ❤️ We’ve been in foster💕 care in the past with other dogs and did wonderfully.
While our shelter Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) is located in the DC suburbs, we’d be willing to travel a bit further if it meant finding the perfect family. You seriously can’t make this up.
A Somali man facing active criminal charges including fraud, theft, illegal firearm possession, and questions about his legal residency, has just been sworn in as a City Council member in Lewiston, Maine… All while under indictment too.
Even wilder? Democrats are backing the move.
Apparently being criminally charged no longer disqualifies you from running a city as long as you check the right political boxes.
It’s a total mockery of the justice system and local governance, although some insist he’s “innocent until proven guilty,” and that the charges shouldn’t interfere with his public service.
But let’s be real: if the roles were reversed, or if this guy had an “R” next to his name, the outrage would be nuclear.
This is about basic trust in our institutions, not race or immigration.
If a sitting councilmember under indictment for crimes involving fraud and weapons can still be handed political power, what message does that send?

The man in blue offering his… assistance filling out the ballot is former Jubbaland Finance Minister Hussein Hirsi Ahmed. He was an MP in Somalia from 2021-2023 and runs multiple money transfer businesses in Lewiston.
Coincidentally, he and all the other “translators” met with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Hannah Pingree just days before early voting started.
This is a foreign op: Get Democrats elected to protect the pipeline that sends welfare dollars straight back to Somalia.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

An email address Talarico's attorneys confirm belonged to and was used by the Texas Democrat Senate candidate appears in Fling.com's 2011 data breach — username "mohawk787," created December 26, 2010, just before Talarico started teaching sixth graders.
The profile's listed interests: "FETISH," "GROUPSEX," "SEXUAL RELATIONS," "ONLINE FLIRTING."
The record is marked "email_validated: Y" — meaning the address was verified rather than left at the default setting.
The same email appears in Myspace and Zynga breach records. The IP address used to create the Fling account also shows up on an online video game record tied to an email associated with Talarico's sister — a match the attorneys did not dispute.
Talarico's lawyers responded 35 minutes after Townhall reached out with a four-page letter claiming, without substantiation, that a hacker created the account using his email, and noting the birth date and ZIP code on the profile don't match his.
