Crazy idea but I’m fairly certain a $220
massage gun to the skull is one of the best mental health tools available and no one talks about it.
Oh it’s a chemical imbalance making you anxious and depressed, maybe get some blood flow going… actually move your neurotransmitters.
People stretch, do gua sha, use foam rollers and get massages, etc to break up fascia, improve blood flow, and help the body circulate all the things it needs to, in order to be healthy feel better.
Why would you not apply the same logic to your brain?
There are waste products the brain creates and needs to clear and circulate.
Vibrate that chunk of meat that determines how you think and experience the world.
I don’t have anything to support this but I’m fairly certain it boost neuroplasticity simply by moving your neurons around a bit, allowing potential new connections to form and breaking weak ones.

On the way out of the church from confession, held the door for a very elderly lady in a big white Kamala cap heading in to Mass. She glared daggers at my kids and I don’t think I’ve ever had the experience of literally biting my tongue on snark aimed at a stranger before.
