This has, apparently, been going on for three years. But staff and students are afraid to report it. An important story that demonstrates how ideologically 'captured' higher education has become.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: “At first, I thought it was a joke - fancy dress. But this is everyday attire. His prosthetic boobs are enormous, exaggerated and cartoonish.” I spoke to Oxford lecturers and a former student about their experiences of Matt Rattley - the bearded lecturer who wears prosthetic breasts to work and posts pictures on LinkedIn. They described their discomfort, concerns about sexual harassment and fear of making a formal complaint. I also obtained three separate written complaints to St Hilda’s, including one from a parent and a joint letter from three former students. One signatory, leading clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Johnstone, told The Mail on Sunday: “As a psychologist who has worked with women clients for many years, I do know that in all forms of harassment and abuse, you see denial by the perpetrator, silencing of the victims, and often collusion by institutions.” The piece also includes comment from @LoudBonnet - the barrister who has represented Sandie Peggie. My latest investigation with Nick Pyke: Read below 👇 _________ P.S. My inbox remains open: [email protected]. All messages treated in confidence.

IT'S GOOD TO TALK ❤️ Heading to Anfield today? You don't have to be struggling to reach out, and you don't need a reason to say hello. Sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference. We’ll be in the Kop bar today before the game ❤️

Every day, you use the names of dead Britons. 🇬🇧 You just never knew they were people. Your wellies? The man who beat Napoleon. 🥾 Your mac? A Glasgow chemist who made cloth waterproof. ☔ Your plimsolls? An MP who fought the owners of overloaded ships. ⚓ The tarmac outside? A road builder from Ayr. 🛣️ Seven Britons. One ordinary day. They teach you the steam engine. Not that James Watt's name is on every electricity bill you pay. ⚡ The world runs on British names. It just forgot they were people. Watch the full story. 🎥 Their names are everywhere. Their stories aren't. Help us tell them: Proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Under UK law, employers must now take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. I think telling men that dressing up like a plastic sex doll is unprofessional and likely to be experienced as unwanted conduct of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment for female colleagues and students is a reasonable step.
🚨 NEW: “His presentation made me uncomfortable, but I quickly understood that saying so would not be acceptable. Colleagues applauded and celebrated him. You couldn’t simply ask: what on earth is he doing?” A former Oxford postgraduate student writes for [Un]Captured about her experience of lecturer Matt Rattley - and why she feared speaking openly would damage her career. She wasn’t taught by him, but saw him around the college regularly. She explains why the culture surrounding him affected her too. Published anonymously, in her own words. Link to read below 👇

People - stop using ChatGPT to enhance CCTV photos. Use the police handout or their specialist enhancements 🙂 AI doesn't just fix what's there, but adds what it thinks is missing. See below - the CCTV doesn't support the AI and could get people looking for the wrong person!

Not a woman. This a male on female crime
A woman in Ontario, Canada was walking down the street with a friend when a random woman suddenly punched her in the face. The 35-year-old suspect was later arrested and charged with assault.

This is an important story. But perhaps the bigger story here is why it took so long for a mainstream publication - now two - to report on a male Oxford University lecturer wearing giant prosthetic breasts to work. An editor said to me on Friday: “I can’t believe this story hasn’t been covered in the mainstream press.” YES!!! I said. Behind the scenes, I’d been pushing hard to get a national newspaper to take it. In the end, I published two pieces on my [Un]Captured website - including three separate complaint letters I’d been sent - before the story gained national coverage. I wasn’t paid for that work. There was no guarantee I ever would be. The depressing thing is that journalists like me, @nickwallis and @jo_bartosch through @TERF_Times are increasingly having to build independent platforms to get these stories heard. This is one of the world’s leading universities, FFS. A lecturer wearing large prosthetic breasts at work. Women describing distress but feeling afraid to complain. Written complaints - and questions about how they were handled. Clearly matters of public interest. I’m glad the @Telegraph and @DailyMail have covered it. But I fear the BBC and Guardian will continue to ignore stories like this while giving plenty of space to promoting the ideas that make women afraid to speak up. What a sorry state of affairs for journalism. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through Buy Me a Coffee. It makes this reporting possible. As ever, my inbox is open: [email protected].

Prosecuting parent for not using new names or pronouns or telling children they should love their own bodies is wrong. The conversion bill has nothing to do with gay rights, it criminalises saying to your daughter “I think you’re a lesbian, not a trans man” telegraph.co.uk/gift/1af2b3e…

This story should open eyes to the shocking trade in babies which is happening, particularly in America.
A California couple with 27 children, most born via surrogates, have been charged in what US authorities have described as a "house of horrors" abuse case. Sky's @marthakelner examines the case in California - and what it means for the multibillion-dollar surrogacy industry.

"Bearded Oxford academic has been criticised for wearing giant fake breasts in public despite complaints from colleagues and eminent former students Matt Rattley, a lecturer in biochemistry at St Hilda's College, has already attracted online controversy thanks to his bizarre appearance, which includes wearing women's clothes and makeup Now three college graduates including a leading clinical psychologist have written to St Hilda's over concerns that Mr Rattley's behaviour 'violates women's dignity', and that it would be 'reasonable for them to feel that it creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating and offensive environment'" dailymail.com/news/article-1…

The point is not why Rattley became someone who wants to wear false breasts to work. That is a question for his psychiatrist. The point is why Oxford governing body is allowing it. The fear of thwarting the desires of men who feel a need to flaunt their sexual fetish in public is at the root of society’s paralysis here. The victims of this odious charade are alienated young people who are being confused by men like this and seeking to harm their own bodies. If ever we needed courageous leadership, it is now.
How does Matt Rattley, a bright young man who read Chemistry at Somerville College, Oxford & became a greatly admired Lecturer at St Hilda’s, @UniofOxford, turn into an autogynephile, a fetishist, who wears a Z cup silicone breastplate to work? One word - PORN. #OxfordUniversity
