Great stuff.
Phil Collins wrote "In the Air Tonight" in 1980 while processing the grief, anger, and despair of his painful divorce from his first wife, Andrea Bertorelli. This song is better than therapy…

Every Doc Holliday scene in TOMBSTONE (1993) is a reminder of how effortlessly Val Kilmer stole the show.
What’s the hardest scene in all of fiction? The kind of scene that makes you sit back and think, “Yeah, nothing is topping this.”

Model Dolores Faith was given a 1959 screen test by Warner Brothers, but was refused work by any studio - due to her resemblance to a particular very popular actress... Any guesses who?

Tom Cruise really climbed that cliff himself for Mission: Impossible 2 (2000). With only a safety harness, he performed the terrifying stunt on a real rock face. Director John Woo was so nervous he admitted he couldn't even watch.

Brad Pitt’s HEART OF THE BEAST continues to show impressive staying power at the global box office. David Ayer’s action thriller added another $6.5 million internationally in its fifth weekend, dropping just 27.8% to reach $108 million across 66 markets. Combined with $62.4 million domestically, the film has now grossed $170.4 million worldwide against an $82 million production budget, excluding marketing costs. It’s now tracking toward a potential $185 million to $200 million global finish, which would give Pitt another major box-office success.

True Romance is one of the only times Quentin Tarantino wrote a film but didn’t direct it. The result? A masterful film directed by Tony Scott. Who’s to say that won’t be the case again in a few weeks? Tarantino put the keys in David Fincher’s hands this time, a director equally as reliable as the late, great Tony Scott. I’m excited.

If you love this movie as much as I do you're going to enjoy the long chapter in Michael Douglas' memoir about the making of The American President...including how Robert Redford was set to star and how the 250 page screenplay for the film by Aaron Sorkin led to The West Wing!
