Some analysts who remain at the intelligence agencies are now careful to not write assessments at odds with White House’s views for fear of political retaliation, officials said.

66 members of Congress, from both chambers, to Secretaries Rubio and Mullin: cancel the deportation flight.
Don’t hand the people who stood with our troops to the Taliban, directly or through Pakistan.
Thank you, @RepScottPeters, for leading. #StopTheFlight

More than 10,000 firearms, ammunition, and pieces of military equipment were returned to the IDF on the first day of a weapons return campaign, including an Uzi submachine gun that has not been in service for over three decades.
On Sunday, the IDF opened some 65 stations and collection points at bases across the country, where weapons and equipment can be returned -- with no questions asked.
The IDF says that on the first day of the campaign 10,000 items were collected, including an Uzi which was "phased out of IDF service more than 30 years ago."
"In accordance with the terms of the operation, the person who returned the weapon was not questioned, and their details were not recorded in the system," the military says.

A big "fuck off" to all the Democrats who would rather leave the GOP in charge of the Senate than support Abdul El Sayed.

Now imagine every single one of those drones carrying explosives and having its own target, and you’ll understand the future of warfare.

this is insane. Of all the heartless gutless things this administration has done this may be the worst. These people took massive risks to help our military, and were promised asylum in exchange. It is unconscionable.

While he hopes nobody is watching, Trump greenlit the expulsion of more than 150 Afghans back to Taliban rule, where they will face almost certain persecution, torture, or worse.
Accountability for Trump’s cruel immigration agenda cannot come soon enough.

I don't even love in Tennessee, but I can "protect" the people there from imaginary threats too.
If elected governor of Tennessee I promise to protect everyone in the state from being eaten by polar bears, or crushed by the gravity of a quasar.

These people helped us fight a war. Trump is betraying them. Sending them back is a death sentence

The Trump administration reminding Black people they’re racist 3 days before an election.
Redacted the middle finger. Kept the racism.
10/10, no notes.

How the hell did this Administration allow a 28-year-old DOGE operative with zero government experience to take over USAID, fire thousands of federal employees, and shut down lifesaving aid programs around the world?
Not to mention that HR had zero record of him working there, he never completed his background paperwork to legally start working for the agency, and he didn’t even have an ID badge, because, officially, he didn’t exist as an employee.
And yet, all on his own, this man was given the go ahead to lock staff out of their own systems and use your taxpayer dollars to gut lifesaving programs with zero transparency.
The Trump Administration owes the American people and Congress answers. Who signed off on this? Why on earth was he given this kind of power?
This wasn’t an accident. Someone handed this man unchecked power, someone knew he wasn’t legally authorized to use it, and someone decided that there was nothing wrong with that.
Well, everything is wrong with that. Congress needs answers about this, and that is NOT optional.

Also, Platner is out. Paxton is not. Those two things are not the same.

The attacks on him have been relentless, but it turns out Islamophobia isn’t a great campaign strategy.
