Vancouver-Quilchena, I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming trust you have placed in me. This victory belongs to our community. And to the people of British Columbia, thank you for sending a strong Conservative majority mandate to Victoria. It’s time to get B.C. back on track. That work has already started.

I feel like a weight has been lifted and I finally see the possibilities for BC again. It’s been a long time. Thank you to everyone who worked their butts off to get here.

80 volunteers building frames in the community, 20-minute home deliveries, and custom handmade quilts matched to each child's favourite colours. Shawn Kremer explains how Sleep in Heavenly Peace Kelowna gets kids off the floor and into a bed of their own. Full conversation: xitter.cf/DanAlbas/status/211473…
No kid should have to sleep on the floor. Sleep in Heavenly Peace #Kelowna brings volunteers together to build and deliver beds to local children who need them. Michelle Cooper and Shawn Kremer join me on Finding Solutions to share how it works:

The removal of CEO Jimenez comes a few months after Joy MacPhail stopped being chair of the board. Her time ended after she decided to buy new ferries from China. Power unravels so quickly. #bcpoli vancouversun.com/opinion/col…
NEW - @BCFerries has fired CEO Nicolas Jimenez. The surprise move, described by the board as part of a "revitalization review," comes 2 days after the BC election in which @Dave_Eby - who had close ties to Jimenez - was defeated by @LDoerkson and the @Conservative_BC

Not healthcare. Not infrastructure. Not defence. 🚨INTEREST🚨 The fastest-growing expense under this Liberal government is the cost of its own debt, leaving our generation and our future generations to pay the price. #cdnpoli

Canadians are paying the price for Liberal debt. Federal debt interest costs a family of four $6,000 a year in taxes. Conservatives identified over $150 billion in spending cuts to reduce debt, lower taxes and invest in services Canadians need: conservative.ca/cpc/make-car…

The slaughter of Orthodox Christians in Ethiopia’s Oromia region is an outrage. More than 60 reportedly killed, including children. Homes burned. Families driven from their communities. The Church has warned repeatedly of these attacks, yet the killing continues. The freedom to worship without fear is fundamental to human dignity. Those responsible must face justice, and the communities still under threat must be protected. Canada must speak clearly in defence of religious freedom, wherever it is under assault. bbc.com/news/articles/cm4g17…

Yep and his name is Terry Fox
I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

The Air Passenger Protection Regulations keep costing more and more, yet rather than fix the system, the Liberals keep applying band aids. Conservatives know that a blank cheque will not fix years of Liberal mismanagement. More accountability and transparency would be a start!

This is a major vote of confidence in Pierre Poilievre. Cedric Lapointe, the former right hand man of Eric Duhaime - who just won big for the Conservatives in the Quebec election - is moving on to work with Poilievre in Ottawa. journaldequebec.com/2026/10/…

Indeed!! Thanks to all the election campaigns cleaning up signs around our communities!!
The unsung heroes of every election campaign are the sign teams. A huge thank you to everyone who put in countless hours putting signs up, keeping them standing, and now taking them all down. One of the quietly inspiring things about this bizarre overlapping provincial and municipal election was seeing people from different campaigns fixing each other’s signs, lending a hand, and helping clean up the stragglers left behind. Different candidates, different parties, but a shared sense of community pride. Here’s to every sign team out there. You deserve more credit than you get! #bcpoli

The electorate has spoken decisively and they voted for the party with Lorne Doerksen as its leader. It would be foolish to undermine him at this time.
