Giving you a @sagaftra Interim Agreement play by play. Journeymen actors, crew members etc, are urged to work in and support SAGAFTRA’s approved projects. As the AMPTP refuses to negotiate, they should be the only ones in our industry out of work. The sucess of Interim Agreements should inspire them to do the right thing. Hope the AMPTP gets back to the negotiating table soon, but until then, it’s the Minor League’s time to shine. #sagaftrastrong #solidarity

If a majority of independent producers, come forward and sign the Interim Agreement deal it will show the AMPTP how wrong they are when they say our contract terms are unrealistic or unreasonable. These agreements also provide employment opportunities for our crew members who are really struggling during the strike. By doing this, we advance our strike agenda as we keep the pressure on the struck companies in a way that nothing else will. #sagaftrastrong #solidarity
Hey! Actor here and I would just like to show some of my recent residuals. THEY ARE NEGATIVE! Someone help me see how this is right. #SagAftraStrike and these are #cougartown #ahs #arresteddevelopment

While we warned Angelenos to stay safe and brace themselves for the storm, the Governor of Texas sent a bus of families and toddlers straight for Los Angeles.
This is a despicable act beyond politics — it's evil.

Meet Carol and Graham, a mother and son from Vermont, who ventured to Paramount Pictures today to take part in the studio’s guided tour of the grounds.
That is, until they saw picketers gathered outside the front gate.
With tour guides ready to take them inside, the duo refused to cross the picket line, instead joining demonstrators as part of the ongoing #ActorsStrike + #WritersStrike

There’s literally a children’s board game that demonstrates that “free-market capitalism” always leads to one person controlling everything.

We want to get back to doing the work we love. We are ready to get back to bargaining and have asked the AMPTP to return to the table. They have declined.
Hey @PlumOrganics could you stop changing to look of your pouches? These are toddlers! They freak out!

As I pulled my resident aside after a tough day doing regional anesthesia, I asked the same first question I always ask when I have clinical competency concerns,
“How are things at home?”
Most of the time the answer is “fine.”
This time the answer was “I have cancer.”

These are my bread and butter and they are so difficult. You’re walking into a solid family to say one or two lines trying to fit in as one of the family. Like new kid at a new school everyday.

Are you fucking kidding me?!!!! I’m not paying you anything for my blue check mark back.
I made you content for free twitter, never charged you!
And you had my eyes on your eye.
If you were to tattoo my mental to do list on my body; only my face and front on my neck would be without tattoos.
When I registered for a crib, I did not realize I should have climbed inside, partially falling asleep myself, and then try to climb out without waking my soon to have sleeping toddler.
Amen

My hot take is that most of us have not adequately processed the trauma of the pandemic. And our sprawling, unprocessed trauma chews away at our brains in myriad ways that make us anxious about why we can’t seem to live our lives as instinctively or as joyously as we did in 2019.
