Maybe not "prettier" , but something like that. This year I drove from Rome to Munich with my kids and AI assistants help me better than Google Map to pin interesting spots along the way. We did a little detour to Maranello at the Ferrari Museum ♥️ and stopped in Salzburg on the way back.
I really don’t know how long my Italian adventure will last, but I savor every day of it. One of the things I love most about Italy is the quality of all kinds of food, not only what you find in restaurants, but also what you can buy in supermarkets or in small neighborhood shops

Weekend hack: HackerTube. I was annoyed with YouTube's recommendations so I had Claude filter down 43M comments over 20 years of HN to 6,454 videos that keep being recommended. *Significantly* better viewing experience, ~2 hours with Opus 5.5:

- Thumbnail is a representative frame from middle of the video instead of the super duper A/B test hyper-optimized user uploads
- Underlying data from the comment analysis as one zip file, point your Claude at it and ask for your own version

A bit more on the process:
I use Claude Code (desktop app for Mac), Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default. I only talk to Claude and have it do everything, the only "manual work" I helped with in tandem was in the browser (reminiscent of MenuGen): 1) I had to create some kind of API key from Google Cloud UI to query YouTube for video metadata, 2) I booted up a VPS box for serving and 3) I bought the domain name. Once the box was up I gave Claude the IP and told it update, secure, harden, deploy and optimize the code, and it did the whole thing.
Many awesome projects that would have normally taken weeks/months even can now be few-shotted for breakfast. What else are we not thinking of.

Haïti–Suisse : renforcement des relations diplomatiques
La Ministre des Affaires étrangères et des Cultes, Son Excellence Madame Raina Forbin, a reçu, ce jeudi 29 octobre 2026, à la Chancellerie, les copies figurées des lettres de créance de Son Excellence Monsieur Pascal Bornoz, Ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire de la Confédération suisse en Haïti.
Par la suite, la Ministre a pris part, aux côtés du Premier Ministre, Son Excellence Monsieur Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, à la cérémonie de présentation des lettres de créance du diplomate suisse, organisée à la Villa d’Accueil.
Cette démarche protocolaire s’inscrit dans le cadre du renforcement des relations d’amitié et de coopération entre Haïti et la Suisse.

Natcom et Digicel se partagent le marché de la téléphonie mobile en Haïti.
Les deux compagnies desservent au total 8 246 009 d’abonnés en Haïti, selon les informations dévoilées par le Conseil national des Télécommunications (Conatel) le 24 septembre 2026.
La Natcom contrôle 55.18% du marché avec 4 549 994 d’abonnés et la Digicel, 44.82% du marché avec un total de 3 696 015 millions d'abonnés. Les deux opérateurs comptent au total 2 706 sites, dont 1 378 pour la Natcom et 1 328 pour la DigiceL, selon le Conatel.
