This concludes (for now) our study of the reactivity of a pincer nickelacyclobutane. First, it was shown to react along the lines of cyclopropanation (reductive elimination) or olefin metathesis ([2+2] cycloreversion) when exposed to neutral ligands:

Another old #ChemEd #Chemistry summary. This covers resonance. The 1st summary that led to interesting discussion (i.e. not everyone agrees). Sorry for the poor resolution, I will update it at some point but have been writing new summaries instead; not sure what's more important?
ALT The first summary covering resonance or delocalisation. There are 6 boxes. The first is an introduction, the second discusses conjugation. The third introduces resonance structures and resonance hybrids. Then there some guidelines to drawing resonance structures. A quick (and controversial) mention of valence bond representation of resonance structures and hybrids. Finishes with a mention that not all resonance structures are equal!
