We're flying to Helsinki!
From what we heard, it might be the biggest deep-tech hub in Europe.
We will be visiting FR8 and the crazy founders there, very excited for that.
Also trying to stop over at every cool start-up, and meet as many cracked young founders as humanly possible!!!
HYPED!!!
P.S.: Scouting for The Residency...
we're flying to helsinki🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮
to visit @shipfr8!!
and meet as many young builders as possible!!!

We've been doing this for centuries in Europe
It's thanks to a technology that the US hasn't yet discovered called "trains"

I want to use the German reunification day to make a case for unified and federalized EU.
We have 16 federal states in Germany, every single one of them has a distinct history, a distinct identity and traditions, yet for the past 36 years we have lived together under a big federal umbrella.
Because we know that we share the same set of values. We cherish freedom, strive for equality and we want to defend and expand unity and democracy. A federalized EU can function in the exact same way. Respecting regional tradition, languages and identities while giving us a much bigger presence on the world stage.
A federalized EU would benefit us all. Let's take it all the way!

What Europe needs is to federalise. No state alone in Europe (not even the biggest) can compete against the superpowers of the world

I’m back in Berlin right now and omg it is so peaceful and beautiful.
I love nyc but Berlin has so much going for it - there is life here and 4M people. At the same time the streets are lined with green trees, there is a park at every corner and it is quiet.
Europe has impeccable vibes

I‘m so excited for the future.
And you should be, too.
Europe can genuinely make a comeback.
Don’t get me wrong, life has never been better.
But that’s not how people perceive it.
Oftentimes, it seems like we’re on a downfall. The AfD rising, extremism becoming everyday life.
And yes, there is still so much going wrong.
But we need to wake up.
This is the time.
More and more people are founding companies.
The European market is being strengthened, facing challenges with the US and China.
Europe is sticking together.
If we, the people, want it.
I want it.
What about you?

We love SF, but we love Europe even more.
And Europe must win.
That’s why we brought SF to Europe for the third time this Saturday.
Way over two hundred people showed up.
This has been our most successful event, by far.
And the next step on our path is to create a movement.
Make Europe Great Again.

we just brought sf to berlin!!
and launched something controversial there....
for everyone who couldn't be there, here's the summary:
we want as many europeans as possible to start believing in this continent's future again. so we designed us a pair of mega caps, and started wearing them across the city and in our videos. since then, so many people reached out asking where they can buy them. so we set up a preorder page to see whether it makes sense for us to produce them in bulk.
so if you think we can make europe great again: marieandmax.com/mega
