Meet Benji! We rescued him after he was abandoned in Dubai by his previous (coward) owners, who fled during the war. We've had him for over 1 month now, but we didn't know if he was gonna make it. We found him in very bad health with multiple illnesses and open wounds. (He had to spend over 3 weeks at the vet). I am happy to report that after treatment and a few thousand $ in vet bills (ouch), he is very close to making a full recovery! They did have to shave his entire body to make sure his wounds didn't get infected, but he has gained over 1 kg already and he is loving life now!
