Australia needs a massive overhaul of its judiciary, police, family courts, public service, universities, education system, welfare agencies, immigration department & government bureaucracy. No more cosmetic reforms. Root out the ROT & rebuild these institutions.

Australia's Parliament has taken another deeply troubling step towards government censorship, with the House of Representatives passing the Online Safety Amendment (Digital Duty of Care) Bill 2026. It's very concerning that this bill now goes to the Senate, which is controlled by Labor and the Greens.
I strongly oppose this legislation, which threatens freedom of speech, parental responsibility, intellectual diversity and democratic debate. It's no stretch to compare this bill with the dystopian novel 1984.
A huge thank you to Llew O'Brien MP, Member for Wide Bay, for his passionate, enlightened and balanced parliamentary speech opposing this dangerous expansion of government power.
O'Brien rightly exposes several fundamental problems:
1. Vague definitions: Terms such as "hostile attitudes towards women" and "gender equality" are left dangerously open to ideological interpretation.
2. Weaponising misogyny: The legislation's supporting material draws on feminist academic Kate Manne's expansive interpretation of misogyny, raising concerns that legitimate disagreement with feminist ideology will be characterised as harmful.
3. Double standards: The government's approach to gender equality frequently overlooks male disadvantage, including male victims of violence and female perpetrators.
4. Threats to free speech: Platforms facing penalties of up to $109 million have powerful incentives to censor lawful expression, including traditional, conservative, Christian and male-positive perspectives.
5. Government overreach: Parents, families and individuals should not surrender fundamental responsibilities to politicians and unelected regulators, such as the so-called eSafety Commissioner.
Protecting children from genuine harm is important. Protecting ideological orthodoxies from scrutiny is not.
Australia needs genuinely balanced, evidence-based online safety legislation that protects women AND men, girls AND boys, without sacrificing fundamental freedoms...
Gender equality must mean equality for everyone, not ideological conformity.

Why Labor & the Liberal Party must NEVER govern again - decades of family law changes have eroded shared parental responsibility. Since May 2024, the legal presumption is GONE. Unproven allegations can influence parenting orders before being fully tested, leaving fathers fighting to remain in their children's lives or end up committing suicide. Because nothing says "we care about gender equality" quite like completely tuning out to a crisis that disproportionately affects men.
At a rate of 1 every 3 hours ⏱️, 2500 Australian males are taking their own lives every year, and that's 2500 too many. That is at least 7 lives every single day 📉, with the number climbing every year.
Male suicide sits quietly at two and a half times the national road toll, is the leading cause of death for Australian males aged 15 to 44 (claiming more lives in this demographic than car accidents, cancer or heart disease), with the majority having no documented history of suicidal ideation. Alarmingly two-thirds of young men are successful on their first known attempt, frequently bypassing, or unable to quickly access, traditional mental health interception or support.
A different lens needs to be applied to this national emergency, where funding is not currently distributed proportionally to reflect the reality that 3 out of 4 suicides are male.
It's devastating to think back on the words of a mate who says he’s now sorted out his problems, has suddenly become calm, and the next call you receive is he has taken his own life.
Sons, brothers, fathers, uncles, husbands, partners, friends and colleagues. Men are important. Men are valuable. Men matter. We need men to survive and society needs to treat men with respect.

Australia’s main national anti-discrimination law (the Sex Discrimination Act) has a section (7D) that says it’s completely legal for employers, universities or the govt. to deliberately favour women over men. They can run 'women-only' hiring rounds, set targets that EXCLUDE men, give women special scholarships or promotions, etc. Labor & Liberal's official green light for discriminating against men is sitting in the Act.

Original Defence Act - men 18-60 faced wartime call-up, women didn’t. Labor AXED ‘male’ in 1992, making women LIABLE as well. NSW, Victoria & Tasmania still have mother-only infanticide laws. In Victoria, a mother who kills her child can face just 5 years if childbirth-related mental disturbance is proven.
