This Piker event had the potential to be a complete non-issue. One fringe-failed statewide candidate said something. Cool. Who cares?
Don’t like Hasan? Cool! Don’t attend! But helping Republicans blow up this nothing-burger feels immature from a party as experienced as the DFL.

Aside from the shocking substance of this story, what's amazing is how it was unearthed by Cole. The short version: The Russians were able to penetrate Jared Kushner's iPhone and extract screenshots and data. Then, a Russian intel official was captured by Dutch intelligence (!) and flipped. The Dutch believed Kushner may have been acting on behalf of Russia, so pursued him as an intel target and were able to get into his phone.
They did not find any evidence of Russian collusion, instead they watched him moving hundreds of millions of dollars from slush funds created by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, one of them housed in Israel's central bank.
Incredible reporting, and if Democrats have any sense, they will pull on these threads and learn a lot more about this money.

ALT US fired 19 years’ worth of Patriot interceptors in 7 months. One line shows the cumulative number of PAC-3/MSE interceptors delivered to the US Army from September 1, 2001 through September 30, 2026. The other shows the estimated number of PAC-3/MSE interceptors fired by the US Army in the Iran War, from February 28 through September 30, 2026. The estimated 1,800 Patriot interceptors fired in the Iran War exceeds the 1,795 delivered to the US Army from September 2001 through May 2020. Data: Army procurement budget materials (P-21 schedules, fiscal years 2001 to 2027); media reports.

@NicoleLampert says ‘the only reason’ protestors are targeting the opening of a new Gail’s in Brixton, is the company’s ‘Israeli-Jewish links.’
In this review, Samet claims that @EliClifton's book on the objectively real Israel lobby is anti-Semitic (??)
Important to note that Samet has been funded by the Tikvah Fund (an explicitly pro-Israel organization). Feels like the @WSJ should've gotten a less biased reviewer
My @WSJopinion review of "Israel's Lobby," a new book that revives an old smear, in today's paper. @AEIfdp

Breaking news: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday night that the Iranian regime must be overthrown once and for all.
So long as the Iranian regime remains standing, Netanyahu said, Israel faces an “existential threat.” wapo.st/4z3cN9h

This is a white supremacist country at this point for one reason above any other, and that's because media at its best tolerates it, in the quotidian engages with it and amplifies it, and at its worse is a sweaty accomplice to it.
SPOTTED: Ilhan Omar's oldest daughter Isra Hirsi was seen pulling into the driveway of Omar's D.C. home Saturday night — nearly one week after Homeland Security Investigations raided the residence as part of an immigration fraud probe.
Two days later, Omar's second daughter was seen arriving at the home along with a woman who appeared to be the young teenager's caretaker.
Omar has not been seen in public since the raid. Her husband Tim Mynett has appeared multiple times to walk the family dog, telling reporters they're "annoying the hell out of the neighbors."

Nonnegotiable is such a funny echo of Uncommitted
University of Michigan freshman Robert Kashan is one of many Jewish Michiganders who are alarmed that Dr. El-Sayed hasn't shown more support for the five nonnegotiables.
To Robert, these aren't crazy demands. They're a simple ask: affirmation of the same dignity, safety, and self-definition every other community receives, and the same legitimacy for Jewish statehood that every other nation receives.
Robert remains hopeful about the next couple of weeks. He is inviting Dr. El-Sayed to engage directly with his concerns and demonstrate with words and conduct that he understands and respects our community’s baseline needs.
