Each of our players shoot significantly below their career avg FG% and 3PT% on top of some blowouts/foul trouble. Know I'll get a bunch of hate. Simply recapping exactly what happened for those who don't understand, not an excuse.
McCain bumped to 19.5 but shoots a horrific 27.3% on FG and 16.7% on 3's and played less minutes because of it. Both far lower than his career %. Had a bunch of quality open looks too.
Walter bumped to 12.5 but shoots a rough 37.5% on FG's and 16.7% on 3's. Got 27 mins but hardly played at all in the 4th qtr due to a massive blowout, this game had a 4.5 pt spread. Over in 78% of career games with 6+ 3-PTA in these type of mins (even lost out on a good 6-8 mins due to the blowout).
Diabate started out well in 1H despite a weird 1st qtr rotation, then went quiet in 2nd half on top of major foul trouble. We lost out on a decent chunk of mins which hurts us. 5 fouls is double his season avg and only avg 2.4 last year too.
I apologize for this rough variance of blowouts, foul trouble and poor shooting from the plays I've selected to start the season. I'm doing everything I possibly can behind the scenes but sometimes those are the uncontrollables that can happen and kill the read/value regardless. Have to get back on track going forward.
