โ€œA Memory Worth Keeping.โ€ โ€˜Shirley had made up her mind.โ€™ On the memory unit, mornings usually began with coffee, soft music, and the quiet shuffle of residents finding their way to breakfast. This morning, Shirley had other plans. She gathered her things, her favorite sweater, a small stack of canes sheโ€™d been collecting from the hallway racks, and a pillow with her name that rattled with something hard, and announced she was moving into Johnโ€™s room. I asked her why? She said, โ€œLisa Pizza, his eyes like to wander,โ€ and thatโ€™s what she told anyone else who asked. She said it the way someone might explain a broken applianceโ€ฆโ€simple fact, nothing to be done about it.โ€ John, for his part, didnโ€™t seem to mind. He sat in his recliner with a calm, slightly confused smile while Shirley rearranged his nightstand and lined the windowsill with the canes, tips all pointing the same direction like a small wooden fence. I arrived before breakfast, announced, Lisa Pizza is here. I am her power of attorney, the one who signed the papers and restocked the drawers and tries, gently, to keep things from tipping too far into chaos. I attend every care plan and doctorโ€™s appointments. Shirley was abused, and I rescued her. Thereโ€™s no blood relation. She stood in the doorway of Johnโ€™s room and took in the sceneโ€ฆShirley perched on the edge of the bed, John nodding along to a story only Shirley fully understood, and the memory-foam topper I had bought for Shirleyโ€™s own bed now neatly covering Johnโ€™s mattress. He said I let her all me, โ€œAlfred.โ€ โ€œI spent a lot of money on that bed,โ€ I said, half-laughing, half-resigned. Shirley looked up, unbothered. โ€œLisa Pizza, thatโ€™s too bad. It breaks my back. Itโ€™s too stiff.โ€ She patted the foam. โ€œThis oneโ€™s better. His is better.โ€ I checked the closet next and found half of Johnโ€™s clothes, the worn flannel shirts, the soft pants with the frayed hems, anything Shirley had decided was past saving. Sheโ€™d thrown them out during the night, efficient as always once she got an idea in her head. The remaining hangers looked sparse. I locked the closet door on my way out, already making a mental list of what would need replacing. Later, while Shirley napped in Johnโ€™s recliner with one of the canes resting across her lap, I found the paper bag. Inside were several sets of dentures, carefully wrapped in napkins. Ugh. Good thing they had names on them. Shirley had been collecting those too, tucking them away โ€œfor later,โ€ though she never explained later for what. The staff had started calling the bag Shirleyโ€™s treasure chest. I tucked it back under the chair where Shirley liked it. By evening, Johnโ€™s room looked different, more of Shirley in it than had been there at breakfast. The canes were still lined up. A few of her photographs had migrated to his dresser. The foam topper stayed. When Shirley woke, she surveyed the room with satisfaction and told John his eyes could wander all they wanted now; sheโ€™d be right there to keep track of them. I told her if sheโ€™s a nag he will break up with her. She said, Hussy, every man loves a bossy woman!โ€ I told her they donโ€™t like that. She replied, โ€œIn my day, we had to look after our man, because thereโ€™s a lot of hussies that like to do tricks!โ€ I stayed a while longer, listening to Shirley describe the improvements she still planned. There would be more canes, she said. Maybe some of the nicer pictures from the activity room. John listened, nodding at the right moments. Outside the door, the unit settled into its usual late-day quiet, but inside the room the two of them kept talking, the way people do when theyโ€™ve decided, for whatever reason that still makes sense to them, that this is where they belong tonight. Never a dull moment with Shirley. I bought John a new wardrobe. Itโ€™s all locked up. As I drove away, I prayed for all the residents suffering from Alzheimerโ€™s and their families. @KickRocks2026

First off, there is no such thing as QAnon, @TheAtlantic, so letโ€™s get that right on out of the way. Are you dreaming up some fictional character because youโ€™ve run out of material? Furthermore, you clearly arenโ€™t up to journalistic standards and lack integrity. Let me tell you why. James Alefantis, after the PizzaGate denials, ran to CNN, swearing he didnโ€™t have a basement in the bottom of his pizzeria. Then he turns around and gives an interview stating that Comet Pizza did have a basement. Which is it? Why donโ€™t you pull those two sources? Because we have. You can run cover all you want. We know! We know you will say and do anything for your masters. Why donโ€™t you start posting the truth for a change? ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ•
New hit piece on 'Qanon' from @TheAtlantic today. They are terrified of us Frens. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿธ Keep crying morons, see if that helps you. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฆ

Sylvester Stallone is facing backlash for casting his daughter, Scarlett Rose in his show, โ€œTulsa Kingsโ€ and openly admits to the Nepotism on display, โ€œOf course itโ€™s Nepotism, you idiot. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™re parents, we want the best for our children.โ€ Thereโ€™s some truth to that โ€” if youโ€™ve built something successful, and youโ€™re child wants to pursue the same dream, I donโ€™t know a lot of parents that wouldnโ€™t pull strings, or use connections to help them. But thereโ€™s a difference in giving them that step, and accepting they couldnโ€™t make it on their own merit, versus forcing your child onto others if thereโ€™s no talent, or theyโ€™re not willing to work for it in some capacity. And then thereโ€™s also the idea that theyโ€™re in their parents shadow, and almost have to work harder to prove theyโ€™re not there, just because of their family tree. I havenโ€™t personally watched Tulsa Kings, but plan to โ€” and will be interested to see how she does.

๐Ÿšจ WAKE UP, EVERYBODY! The FBI, IRS, HHS-OIG, U.S. Postal Inspectors, Minnesota BCA, and Medicaid Fraud Control Unit just RAIDED multiple businesses across the Twin Cities in a Medicaid fraud investigation. The same Minnesota program tied to allegations of massive taxpayer fraud under Tim Walz, including fake autism services, phantom care, and BILLIONS in taxpayer dollars allegedly lost to fraudulent schemes. Federal agents even busted through a glass door at a business named Iska. OOF. ๐Ÿ˜ณ And this is happening ONE DAY before VP JD Vance arrives in St. Cloud for a fraud announcement. STAY TUNED. ๐Ÿฟ

๐ŸšจWHAT ON EARTH?!! A Nashville TEACHER OF THE YEAR walked away from her career because she says the district ORDERED HER TO FABRICATE A STUDENTโ€™S GRADE. She refused, so they went into the system and CHANGED IT THEMSELVES. According to the teacher, a student didnโ€™t finish a project so Hardcastle (the teacher) gave the grade the student earned... a failing grade. Then a parent came in and SAT IN THE OFFICE FOR HOURS until that grade changed. Three administrators huddled up and decided the AWARD-WINNING TEACHER was the problem. She still refused to change the grade. So they overrode her and changed it ANYWAY. She quit in May and put all of it in a three-page resignation letter. Itโ€™s public. Read it yourself. She calls it GRADE FABRICATION. And then she stood up in front of the school board and said the quiet part into a microphone: โ€œStatistics are being skewed to protect the district, not our children.โ€ Our kids canโ€™t read. Canโ€™t write. Canโ€™t do basic math. ...but the SCHOOL METRICS LOOK GREAT. AND SHE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE. WSMV4 Investigates pulled the internal emails of Diana Wills, a math teacher at Overton High. Administrators told her she had to give FAILING STUDENTS a PASSING GRADE because she "hadnโ€™t notified their parents first..." She put her refusal in writing: โ€œWhat is being done is unethical and could very well be interpreted as illegal.โ€ THE DISTRICT SUSPENDED HER. Sheโ€™s suing them right now. At MNPS, when a teacher and an administrator disagree about a grade, THE ADMINISTRATOR WINS. Not the person who taught the class. Not the person who graded the work. The bureaucrat whose numbers go UP when your kid passes. HOMESCHOOL YOUR KIDS!!!!!
