I don't post here much anymore. I just feel so guilty for posting on a site that is run by a racist, bigoted despicable person. I need need need to tell you all that you have enriched my life so much. I have posted here, under this one handle for over 9 years.

She lives in Spokane. Until the 2000s, the city was 95% white. The Black population was less than 1% Black until 1990. And they STILL HAD SEGREGATED NEIGHBORHOODS! She’s not lying. She literally didn’t see color.
When I was growing up in the 1970s and 1980s no one saw color. We were all just Americans. Why did that change?

A sundown or sunset town was a town, city, or neighborhood in the US that excluded non-whites after dark. The term sundown came from the signs that were posted stating that people of color had to leave the town by sundown. A THREAD!

Them: “quit virtue signaling” What I hear: “you made me feel bad about myself and I can’t conceive of a viewpoint beyond my own”
Walking my dog in a mask for my own safety and a wretched cyclist man passing us said “look at you virtue signaling” Truly fascinating
