From Bastion to Prison: The Fall of Free Speech
So now that we know the perpetrator in Charlie Kirk's case was radicalized by a combination of college experiences and online political extremist channels, it is clear our educators in academia bear a significant responsibility for radicalizing our kids.
They have been radicalized to the point that they view political violence as a rational option and, equally grotesque, as something worthy of celebration.
Words are not violence.
Older generations grew up under the motto: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
Academia has seemingly changed it to: We will break your bones with sticks and stones due to your WORDS.
If anyone needs proof, they only need to tabulate the number of educators, from K-Doctorate, that have publicly celebrated Kirk's demise - even medical doctors sworn to save lives. It is truly disturbing that those who teach our kids are among the largest groups celebrating an assassination of a fellow human being.
There is a deep rot plaguing academia at all levels. They claim they're about inclusivity and diversity, but their actions prove their idea of diversity is merely skin-deep.
The whole point of celebrating diversity is to recognize and respect the unique opinions and beliefs we form and hold, on all topics, due to our different experiences.
College campuses were once considered the bastion of free thought, and the preeminent place for the exchange of ideas through vigorous debate, yet most across our great nation have morphed into the exact opposite. For many students the alleged bastion of free speech has actually become a prison for their thoughts.
On campuses across the nation, many kids have to put on a façade and lie about how they truly feel, to both friend and staff, to avoid confrontation and consequences.
Not only is free speech no longer an option on most campuses, the opposite exists: Compelled speech - all because words are deemed violence.
Only say what we say is right, or be punished.
Charlie Kirk found out that even the ultimate punishment can be exacted from you for simply engaging in and pursuing the very free speech and debate both campuses and our country are supposed to embody and support.
Free speech, debate, and the free exchange of ideas, without fear of retribution, need to be restored not only on college campuses, but across this great nation.
Our children's future relies upon it.
That’s a lot for words to just say Democrats.
Around half of Seattle businesses report that are considering moving or shrinking, blaming a business environment that they say is getting worse and don’t believe it looks like it will get better, according to a survey from the Downtown Seattle Association and Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. kiro7.com/news/local/survey-…

Amer Zahr, a Dearborn school board who's said he "stands with" Hamas and Hezbollah, released this endorsement of his good friend @AbdulElSayed the other day.
He starts by criticizing El-Sayed for campaigning with Kamala and Obama and for stating "Khameini was a terrible person." (some in Dearborn are upset at El-Sayed for "moderating" on Israel).
And then some other interesting statements from Zahr:
“But at this point, it’s bigger than Abdul. The goal of enshrining a pro-Palestinian American foreign policy is bigger than any of us."
“The real truth is that without the blood of the children of Gaza, there would be no Abdul for Senate.”
"Ultimately, Abdul is a politician. Yeah, he’s one of us, but he’s also just a politician
"And politicians are tools to get things done for our communities and our causes. They are not heroes or saviors or celebrities. They will usually hedge and equivocate and pander.”
"Do we want American policy towards Palestine to be a red-line issue in the 2028 Democratic presidential primaries? I know we do, and that happens much more easily when Abdul wins, when we continuously prove that pro-Palestine politics is winning politics even with imperfect candidates.”
Hey look! Democrats once again prioritizing illegal immigrants staying in the US illegally at the expense of innocent citizens being victim to their crimes. Yet morons will vote for the again, and again.
Sanctuary DAs are treating illegal aliens better than American citizens!
In New York City, prosecutors are being told to let criminal illegal aliens, including pedophiles, off lightly so that @ICEgov has a harder time deporting them.
Far too many times, innocent New Yorkers have been victimized by criminal illegal aliens and found their leaders taking the side of the criminals rather than the victims.
Under the Trump administration, the American people will ALWAYS come first and we will relentlessly remove illegal aliens from New York, even while local officials REFUSE to honor thousands of detainers.
Maine shipped sensitive election materials, including 498 blank ballot envelopes to a Soros-funded non-profit NGO in Maryland that a detective recovered, and now the entire investigation magically gets shutdown, with ZERO answers as to why these election materials were shipped in the first place.
The AG's office determined there wasn't enough information to issue a subpoena after UPS said it would require one.
Our greatest enemy comes from within.
Now you understand why certain investigations never go anywhere because the ones responsible to legally start the investigations are compromised and shut then down before they ever start.

So you're telling me Flavio Bolsonaro went from winning the first round of the elections by a healthy margin, having 80-90% odds of winning the second round, to losing and having his passport confiscated
And you wanna convince me Brazil is a democracy?

One day after Lula was declared the winner of Brazil's elections, his opponent -- Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro -- just had had his passport seized by the Federal Police.
Theose police were sent by notorious tyrant Judge Alexandre de Moraes. What a lovely democratic image.

June 6, 1944. An American paratrooper jumps into Normandy in the dark and lands on the roof of a church.
By the end of the war he had been declared dead, held a funeral he didn't attend, escaped the Nazis, and fought his way toward Berlin in a Soviet tank unit.
His name was Joseph Beyrle. He's believed to be the only American soldier to serve in both the US Army and the Red Army during World War Two.
Beyrle was from Muskegon, Michigan. He joined the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles. His buddies called him Jumpin' Joe.
On D-Day night his plane was hit by flak and he jumped early. He came down on a church roof, slid off, and lost his unit in the chaos. For a few days he fought on his own, blowing up a power station and cutting German communications.
Then he was captured.
Here's where it gets strange. A German soldier ended up wearing Beyrle's uniform and dog tags. That German was killed. When the body was found, the Americans identified it as Joseph Beyrle.
The army told his parents their son was dead. His hometown held a funeral mass for him. His obituary ran in the local paper.
Meanwhile, he was very much alive, being moved from one German prison camp to another.
He escaped more than once. One time he and two other prisoners jumped off a train heading east. They thought they were heading for Russia and freedom. They got lost and ended up in Berlin, where they were caught by the Gestapo, beaten, and tortured.
In January 1945, from a camp in eastern Germany, he finally made a clean escape. He went east, toward the gunfire. Toward the Soviets.
When he found a Soviet tank unit, he walked out with his hands up, holding a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, and shouted the only Russian he knew. American comrade.
It worked.
He asked to join them. And they said yes.
For about a month, an American paratrooper rode with Soviet tank crews as they pushed toward Germany. He used his demolition training. He fought. He was reportedly welcomed by a Soviet officer who was one of the rare women commanding a tank battalion.
Then a German dive bomber attacked. Beyrle was badly wounded.
He was evacuated to a Soviet hospital. Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov reportedly visited, heard his story, and gave him papers to get to the American embassy in Moscow.
When he showed up, the embassy didn't believe him. As far as the US was concerned, Joseph Beyrle was dead. They held him under guard until his fingerprints proved who he was.
He made it home to Michigan in April 1945.
In 1946 he got married. In the same church where they'd held his funeral.
Decades later, in 1994, he was honored at the White House by President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin for serving both countries.
And the last twist. His son, Joseph Beyrle II, grew up to become the United States Ambassador to Russia.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joseph Robert “Joe” Beyrle had two sons. The elder son, Joe Beyrle II, served during the Vietnam War, but wasn’t a US Ambassador. That was the other son, John Beyrle.
