For all this talk about the new generation of driver’s alleged “adaptability” it’s rather convenient that they mostly don’t change teams.
Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris have yet to move around during their peak years for example.
Compare that to Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel and even Raikkonen who all won races with 3 different teams.
Say what you want, but that old era of driver was a cut above in terms of testing themselves properly and proving themselves in a variety of machinery.
And fans like to see fast cars go fast, not slow down at the end of straights, fans are “interested” in F1 cos of the car detail in every race week, if not everyone would watch horse racing
