Thank you @MiningHabit for collecting "American Summer, Nearly Fall" from Moments of the Unknown Painting pre-sale for 1.111 ETH
Thank you @hittman_ for collecting "Tea Ceremony" from Moments of the Unknown Painting pre-sale for 1.111 ETH. This piece represents all the friendships and connections we can make just from stopping and sipping on tea together. Time is what brings us together, the laughter and joy of sharing stories. This one we pour out to all the friends we lost and whose spirits we carry with us in our hearts.

What the fuck is an "elder millennial?"

it's a huge clue about the real nature of ADHD that rejection sensitive dysphoria is such a common symptom / comorbidity. that tells you that ADHD is not really about "attention" as such. gabor mate's book title "scattered minds" gets closer; something is scattered which wants to be regathered, something is diffuse which wants to be dense when you're scattered you're unsure who you are or what you want or what to do or what to pay attention to so external influences push and pull at you more generally. you're grabbing onto external things to check if they might be your self or your feelings or your desires (this is what you're doing when you're doomscrolling btw) so if you get rejected it feels devastating because you're grabbing onto it and you're like is this me? am i fundamentally bad and unlovable? is it the essence of me to be rejected? there's a different way that can go if you're less scattered, denser, which is harder to describe because it feels like almost nothing, but it feels like almost nothing because of your weight, because of gravity, and a random rejection just doesn't have enough weight to it to perturb your orbit. you can collect together the mass of you, you can move together coherently, in harmony, the accumulated weight of your entire life, everything you've experienced and done and sensed and felt and know. you can become heavy, like grief but also like a mountain, not immovable but vast, tectonic, forested, snow-capped

My therapist once told me, “Anger is the part of you that loves you the most. It shows up when you’re being mistreated, ignored, or disrespected. It’s a signal calling you to step away from what’s harming you. Whether it’s a room, a job, a relationship, or an old version of yourself, anger lets you know when it’s time to walk away. If you learn to listen to it, to trust it, and make it your ally, it won’t need to shout so loudly.” That conversation never left me… it changed the way I see myself.

People talk about the narcissist's mask as if there's a true face hiding under a false one. I'd put it differently. There are several versions, and each one appears where it pays. The charming one in public. The wounded one when confronted. The furious one at home. None of them is fake, exactly. They're all deployed. What that tells you isn't who the person really is. It's that the behaviour is a choice that tracks the audience. That's enough to act on.

Sydney Sweeney shared a text exchange with her man, and things got REAL messy. 😳💔 I already made my mind up. I don’t want to be with you. I need to be alone for a while. He ended it with, “Yeah, I’m done. You’ll be fine. Take care of yourself.” Imagine going from loving someone to becoming strangers just like that. 💔🥀

I agree with this woman 💯. She just explained why so many of us went quiet and it wasn’t because we “changed” or got bitter. It’s because every single time we opened our mouth, we paid for it. Friends turned. Family took the abuser’s side. Suddenly WE were the dramatic, unstable ones while the person who was destroying us soaked up all the sympathy. So we stopped talking. Not out of weakness. Out of survival. That part about isolation not being a choice but a strategy... yeah. That one sat heavy. Because once you’ve been betrayed by the person you loved the most AND watched everyone else side with them, trusting anybody starts feeling dangerous as hell. And the most messed up part? The survivor ends up carrying the shame while the abuser gets the spotlight. Crazy how that works. If this video found you and it felt personal… drop a 💔 in the comments. No need to explain. Just so the people who went silent know they’re not as alone as they think.
