They ask us to “Trust Muizzu,” yet this clearly reveals what’s hidden in their hearts. 👇
It’s the same philosophy as Nasheed’s.
They think the Quran is outdated and zionist "Investments" will save us from "fageerukan"!

“Likes of these people”? You mean the Ministry and Dr. Adam Shameem? Your choice of that phrase says everything about your distaste for Islam and its Book.
Let’s not refer to socio-political elites from Maumoon and Nasir eras as our “ancestors.” Tourism began not too long ago in 1972, and even they understood the importance of keeping it separate from our communities through the one-island-one-resort model.
People have written extensively about how tourism mixing with local island life has affected our Dhivehi culture and Islamic identity. Just look at Maafushi. I’ve shared headlines from recent years, and there are plenty more.
But none of that seems to concern you. As long as the money keeps flowing, the erosion of our religion, culture and national identity is apparently a price worth paying. Your position is no different from that of Anni.
Your ignorance of local issues in a senior MoT role clearly shows how your consuming greed has blinded you with arrogance.
And this “progressiveness” you keep promoting? We’ve seen where it leads. Clubbing, partying, alcohol and indecency becoming normalised on Muslim land. Look at what’s happening across the Gulf, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE. And what happens to the Ulama who speak against these changes? Jailed. Like Shumba arrogantly promoted.
It’s a familiar pattern. Normalise indecency, feed people’s greed, make them dependent on wealth like an addiction, and slowly weaken their attachment to Islam.
This is exactly what we stand against. And I believe many of the original PPM & PNC members stood against it too.
Your position reminds me of the warning in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:85):
“Do you believe in some of the Scripture and reject the rest?”
Our Rizq comes from Allah. Not Alabbar, not the Gulf states, and certainly not some so-called investor promising to solve all our problems.
That’s our faith and belief. And from everything you’ve said, it’s clear that you don’t share that belief.

A PNC activist dismissing the fact that Islam prohibits haram tourism, alcohol etc
Saying that "our ancestors were more progressive than these", meaning more progressive than those who call to obey Allah and abandon such.
Then saying "where would we be today" if we had obeyed Allah in these matters, rather than capitalising on doing haram.
What sick hearts.

Had they employed this kind of logic, Maldives tourism would have never kicked off.
Where would we be today if we didn’t capitalize on tourism? And did it affect our Islamic beliefs and values? The answer is no.

At this rate, it feels like our national position is drifting dangerously close to the side we claim to oppose.
We cannot loudly stand with Palestinians in words, then quietly accept relationships and money that contradict those principles.
A nation’s values are measured by what it refuses, not only by what it condemns.

Yes! And the audacity of Muizzu to ask us to "TrUsT RiCe MuIz" when these are the very people who back him. 😡
Ya Allah. Humiliate the likes of these deviants and save our beloved nation from the claws of these Shayatin. 🤲🏼

One after another, the truthful are coming out and speaking against Muizzu. Yet Muizzu is hell-bent on getting this done, even against the will of the people. At this rate, he’ll lose the support of everyone.

@Muizzu, this truly exposes the mindset and underlying ideology of your senior political directors and key allies!!
Then you ask us to trust you that you? With our national identity, Islam and sovereignty!!?
How dare you ask us to TRUST you?? HOW DARE YOU!! 😡

Selling islands and lagoons just like that, without any transparency, to the most sus groups, and they still have the audacity to come out and defend their policies?
Every so-called investor coming in is demanding islands. Government officials, most of whom weren’t even part of the #IndiaOut fight, who just spawned outta nowhere, are taking huge commissions from these deals and making a living off them.
Outrageous. We're not angry enough 😡

Dr. Adam Shameem has spoken. Now PNC supporters will resort to the same personal attacks and smears once used by Anni’s supporters to discredit him. How low they’ve stooped. 🤦♂️
PNC supporters like Akram, Lujain and Shumba keep portraying Eagle Hills as the solution to all our problems: housing, dollar shortages, imports, and economic dependence.
Their argument is always the same. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We must accept it, or we’ll be left begging others for help.
Notice how their entire argument revolves around the fear of poverty. As though we must accept whatever is offered to us because we’re too poor to survive otherwise.
But Allah reminds us:
“Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:268)

This is the biggest lie and dumbest thing a sitting Maldivian president has ever said. He’s calling the contractor financing model the gov receiving something for free.
Muizzu: We don’t have to pay for the 5,000 housing units. So it’s FREE.
But next he says: We have to deduct their fees from future revenue.
He described the contractor financing model and labeled it free. How dumb is he? He’s deliberately lying, knowing many Maldivians may not understand it.
The gov is not getting 5,000 housing units from Zionist Eagle Hills for free. They will be paid from the gov’s future revenue.
