Canada already has a trade agreement and defence partnership with Europe. So what exactly are we gaining from this proposed EU associate membership, and what are we giving up in return?
More importantly, have the provinces even been consulted?
These are reasonable questions that deserve answers.

Andrew Wilson Accuses Feminists of Creating the Transgender Problem They’re Now Fighting — Julie Bindel Fires Back
Andrew Wilson: This person says, “You just want to erase transgender people altogether, Piers,” then turns around and says, “I wasn’t saying that. Not you specifically.” When that’s clearly what you were saying, at least stand behind your statements.
You start by saying you’re here defending women’s rights, then immediately argue that poker is misogynistic because a woman wants to beat men. The first thing you do is attack men to supposedly elevate women. You’re all insane.
The truth is, women vote for the politicians who support this. They vote blue, they vote left, and they empower these politicians. You’re the deciding vote, and you’re responsible for this.
Piers Morgan: Andrew keeps saying “all of you.” Are you including Emily in that?
Andrew Wilson: I just assumed it.
Andrew Wilson: Under patriarchal rule, under men, this would never have happened.
Men vote against this nonsense, and fathers are on the front lines against it. It’s women trying to transition children, not men. Show me one father fighting in court to transition his son into a girl. It doesn’t exist. It’s a female-only phenomenon.
Julie Bindel: I’ve interviewed quite a few fathers who’ve been wishing for this. But this benefits men.
They’re the ones claiming to be women, presenting themselves as oppressed and feminists like me as the oppressors. They’re too weak to compete against other men, so they come and beat up on women.
Andrew Wilson: Do you vote for the left-wing party in your country? Do you vote for the Democrats?
Julie Bindel: No, I wouldn’t have voted for the Democrats, and I wouldn’t have voted for Trump either. We live in a different context.
Andrew Wilson: Women’s voting patterns in the UK and the United States are often decisive. And that includes the trans issue.
The very thing you pushed for in the name of women’s empowerment is now causing your problem. You have to convince women. Men have already said no.
Julie Bindel: It’s men who are claiming to be women.
Andrew Wilson: Apart from the women claiming to be men, which is now almost equalized. This phenomenon is rejected by men and reinforced by women. You did everything you could to push it, and now you get to reap the whirlwind.
I don’t care if women in their sports teams are getting their teeth kicked in. Reap what you sow. You get exactly what you deserve.
Julie Bindel: You seem like a lovely person.
Andrew Wilson: I’m sorry you have to deal with the consequences of your own actions.

The NDP forgot to take the A.I. prompts out of their “Big, Bold Health Care Plan” before they posted it online.
It’s no wonder no one takes the NDP seriously.

Kane Millar, 19, Buchlyvie: signed up as a nursery assistant the same month he started hoarding 3,400+ child abuse files (1,300+ Category A — the worst stuff, infants included). Then hopped on Telegram to plan jointly raping a child with another nonce and chat about how much he fancies young kids.
Kept the nursery job for over a year. Sheriff called it “particular gravity” then decided prison wouldn’t “protect the public,” so it’s 300 hours of unpaid work, a bit of supervision, and a three-year sex offenders’ register entry.
Parents are “sick with worry.” Obviously. Nothing says child safety like letting the guy who fantasises about raping toddlers keep changing nappies.

UK has 'invested' for years in 'cheap/free' wind and solar electricity. We are among the world leaders in it use.
But the cheap/free stuff has given us about the highest prices in the world
So we've paid twice.
First to 'invest'
And second in the high prices
This is NUTS!

The Alberta Referendum results will be coming in shortly and I’d be shocked if we even hit 35 percent on option 2.
If our side that wants to keep pushing for a real separation vote can’t get near 40, it confirms that the Canada and Alberta we once knew are already gone. It just seems like even Albertans are choosing mediocrity over actually wanting more for the province and for their own lives.
The true conservatives who still reject that have largely moved elsewhere and have been replaced by the new immigrants and what’s left is a country settling into Liberal dominance for years to come. High immigration and housing pressure barely register the same way in the East or Quebec, while BC stays green, orange or red no matter what. But yet, the ones who feel it in Ontario and BC keep moving here and bringing the same politics with them. Calgary’s competent conservative instincts have been diluted by a decade of NDP/Liberal mayors and the influx of BCites, Ontarians and new immigrants. The “pro-Canada” nationalism just accelerates always of this
What you’re left with is a place that keeps the people who are fine with the current setup and slowly loses the ones who aren’t. The competent, the self-reliant, the ones who still expect something better, a lot of us have already left or are planning to. Alberta used to be insulated from a lot of this, but It isn’t anymore. The province and the country both look less and less like what a lot of us grew up with and at this point it’s hard to see what reverses it.
